Project Overview:
The application provides business intelligence analysis services to Ashley sales data mart department on costmargin performance metrics through interactive client tools. Data from various online transaction processing
(OLTP) applications and other sources is selectively extracted, related, transformed and loaded into the Oracle
data warehouse using Informatica Power Center ETL tool. The end users can drill through the information
using BO. The whole process is completely automated his system analyses the sales performance across
various dimensions like Region, Product, Period and Customer wise. The company requires different level of
analysis regarding loan amount, type of Loans, type of customers, type of payment schedules, interest rates
(variable or fixed), defaulters list and the interest calculations, etc. Our goal is to prepare a Data Warehouse
with 2 years of historical data of every transaction from all locations at a central zone on a daily basis. Reports
were built (using the OLAP tool) to see the current and past trends and thus helping to provide the desired
information to the Top Management.

 ETL Coding and Unit Testing - As per Analysis of System Requirements, high-level design specs are parsed
to simple ETL coding and mapping standards. ETL jobs are designed using Informatica power centre and unit
