1.BeRespectful.ThisincludesbeingrespectfultoMrs.Yanik,yourclassmates,and
yourself.
2.BePrepared.YouCANNOTdomathwithoutapencil,somethingtowritein,anda
calculator.Atthebeginningofclassyoushouldhaveallmaterialsatyourseat(including
yourhomework)andbereadytolearn!
3.BeonTime.Beontimeforclassandtoschool.Also,turnassignmentsinontime.
4.FollowallSchoolRules.Schoolrulesapplyintheclassroomtoo!

5.Dontgiveup,dontevergiveup.JimValvano Mathtakespatienceand
perseverance.Donotgiveuponyourself,tryagain!

Procedures:
1.BeginningClass:Gotoyourassignedseatandcopythedailyhomeworkinyouragenda.
Retrieveyourhomework,begindailywarmup,andbereadytoLEARN.Studentsshould
beintheirseatwhenthebellringsnotmovingabouttheclassroom.
2.TurninginWork:Allworkistobeturnedintothespecificperiodbinatthefrontofthe
classroom.DonotgiveworktoMrs.Yanik,putitinthebox.
3.MakeUpWork:CheckthecalendarinSchoologytoseeifyouhavemakeupwork.Often
timestheassignmentwillbepostedonourclasspage.Iftheassignmentistangible,it
willbeinthe"makeupwork"boxonthefronttablewithyournameonit.Itisyour
responsibilitytogetit,doit,andturnitintoyourperiod'sbin/submitinSchoology.
Pleasedonotturnmakeupworkbackintothe"makeupwork"bin.

food/candy/gum/drinksareallowed.
7.Chairs/Desks:Pleasekeepall4chairlegs/desklegsonthegroundatalltimes.Attheend
ofclass,pleasecleanuparoundyourdeskandstraightenyourrow.
8.Dismissal:PleaseremainseateduntilMrs.Yanikdismissesyou.NOTTHEBELL!!!
