Stem is the software developed that runs Mott MacDonalds business

management system. It provides Mott with simple processes to


follow to achieve a common way of working across their worldwide
business in all areas.

Strategy
Strategic direction is reviewed by the group strategy
development director by considering things which are
changing in the world and in Motts business. Then a meeting
(forum) is held in order to produce a final group strategy.

Policy
When a policy needs to be created or revised, the
stakeholders (Group Chairman) are identified who develop or
refine the policy and then approve of it so it can be published.

Risk
When a potential security risk or safety hazard is identified by
the Director, it is analyzed to understand the level of risk.
Next, it is evaluated to understand how it can be reduced.
Finally, the risk is treated and reviewed.

Operations
Once strategic direction is set and the Regional MD has the
business planning objectives, they develop the business plan
and budget. Then they manage the operation efficiently and
effectively.

Win
The group strategy is used to create customer relationships by
the development director. (via Customer Engagement Plan)
The opportunities worth developing are then used to capture
the customers prospect. (via Capture Plan and analysis)
If the customer wants to proceed further by bidding, then the
information gained by capture helps to convince the customer
to buy. (Produce the bid, convince the customer then close the
deal)
If successful, then a signed contract is approved then
processed by Project Director

Once the contract is processed, the project follows the following stages:
