White Paper
Melania Trump
Communism & Illegal Immigration

Credit to JASON HOROWITZ for research and articles on Melania and family.

SEVNICA, Slovenia On days when Melania Knavs could not play outside or grew tired of
knitting her navy blue sweaters, she and her friends would exchange notes along the lines of

yarn they strung between their apartment block balconies. In clear handwriting, Melania
mused about the boys of her dreams.
Melania Knavs now Melania Trump addressed millions of Americans at the Republican
National Convention in Cleveland. Much has been said about her speech. Some question the
originality others the sincerity. I question whether a committed communist should be eligible
to assume the mantel of First Lady.
Yes, I said communist. Didnt you know? Donald Trump knew!
Melanias Family
Interviews with Melanias former classmates, friends of her family and others who knew
them during her youth in Slovenia suggest that her current station in life owes less to chance
than to the Knavs familys determination to seize openings and avoid getting stuck.
Her father, a larger-than-life personality belonged to the Communist Party. Her mother, an
industrious and striking woman, went from harvesting red onions on her familys farm to a
career in the towns textile factory. She always found time to make sure her two daughters
dressed to impress, sewing clothes for them after her work shift ended.
Melania Trump, born in 1970, grew up in Sevnica, a hilly town of 4,500 best known around
Slovenia, for its medieval castle and annual salami festival. Then, Slovenia was the northern
region of Yugoslavia, ruled by Josip Broz Tito, a Communist dictator.

An immigration lawyer knowledgeable that Melania Trump requested and received a

green card to enter the United States to marry in 2001, questions whether she broke the
law given that she did not marry Donald Trump until 2005. Four (4) years after swearing
under asserting under oath she was entering the county to marry.

The question is:

WHETHER MELANIA TRUMP IS AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT?

Immigration attorney, Michael Wildes, who worked for the Trump Organization, told
Univision that the Melania Trump obtained her green card in 2001 "based on marriage,
though she did not marry Trump until January 2005.

Melania has previously said that Trump is her first husband. Politico reporter Ben
Schreckinger said the Donald Trump campaign reacted with a statement that said:
"Melania was not married prior to her marriage to Mr. Trump in 2005."

When pressed on the time line and circumstances of her receipt of a green card, Attorney
Wildes said, Ms. Trump received citizenship in 2006 and prior to that she had a green
card based on marriage. He also said, [b]efore that, she had a work visa and was in full
compliance on her visas and never disrespected any of them. That has been made clear to
me.

These admission and retractions only compels more questions. If Melania received a
green card to enter the country to marry in 2001, why did she need a work visa from 2001
to 2006?
Fianc Visa
If you plan to marry a foreign national outside the United States or your fianc(e) is
already residing legally in the United States, you do not need to file for a fianc(e) visa.
3

Application Process
The putative spouse must file Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fianc.
Eligibility Requirements, If you petition for a fianc visa, you must show that:
a. You (the petitioner) are a U.S. citizen.
b. You intend to marry within 90 days of your fianc entering the United States.
c. You and your fianc are both free to marry and any previous marriages must have
been legally terminated by divorce, death, or annulment.
d. You met each other, in person, at least once within 2 years of filing your
petition. There are two exceptions that require a waiver:
1. If the requirement to meet would violate strict and long-established customs
of your or your fiancs foreign culture or social practice.
2. If you prove that the requirement to meet would result in extreme hardship to
you.
e. After the Fianc Visa is Issued: Once issued, the fianc visa (or K-1
nonimmigrant visa) allows your fianc to enter the United States for 90 days so that
your marriage ceremony can take place. Once you marry, the spouse may apply for
permanent residence and remain in the United States while USCIS processes the
application.
Permission to Work
After admission, the fianc may immediately apply for permission to work by filing a
Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization with the USCIS Service Center
having jurisdiction over your place of residence. Any work authorization based on a
nonimmigrant fianc visa would be valid for only 90 days after entry. However, the
fianc would also be eligible to apply for an extended work authorization at the same
time as he or she files for permanent residence. In this case, your fianc would file Form
I-765 together with Form I-485 as soon as you marry.
4

What happens if one does not marry within 90 days?

Fianc status automatically expires after 90 days. It cannot be extended. Your fianc
should leave the United States at the end of the 90 days if you do not marry. If your
fianc does not depart, he or she will be in violation of U.S. immigration law. This may
result in removal (deportation) and/or could affect future eligibility for U.S. immigration
benefits.
Conclusion
Melania Trump and Attorney Wiles have admitted that she violated the law as follows:
a. She was not the fianc of an American when she applied for a marriage visa;
b. Her American fianc did not submit Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fianc;
c. She did not marry within ninety (90) days of entering the United States.

Because Trump has made immigration a main focus of his campaign

WILL A PRESIDENT TRUMP DEPORT MELANIA
