2009 – 008 APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM THE PREVIOUS


MEETING
VOTED, To approve the minutes from the previous meeting dated
December 20 – 21, 2009.

2009 – 009 PRESIDENTS REPORT


VOTED, To approve all the Presidents report from different
Colleges/University regarding their school events, developments,
and upcoming programs.
2009 – 010 ADVISER’S RECOMMENDATIONS
VOTED, To approve the Adviser’s Recommendations as follows:

1.) To formulate the mid-year inter-school programs which


include the leadership training program and sport festival
in regional convention before its national summit.

2.) To establish AICAP secretariat national headquarters in AUP


campus.

3.) To recommend that the advisers of the student government


should initiate the continuity of the AICAP.

4.) To recommend the registration of the AICAP in the Security


Exchange and Commission to be done as possible.

5.) To seek the recognition from the Southern Asia Pacific


Division to support the programs of AICAP. Whereas, Mr.
Ariel Celis shall initiate sending of letter to the Division.

6.) To promote the exchange (student) programs whereas the


student who is enrolled in one Adventist College can study
in another Adventist college to experience the different
culture in the institution. Furthermore, a student who
wanted to avail this program should seek the approval of
the academic affairs.

7.) To developed or improve the social network of the AICAP


(www.aicap84.ning.com).

8.) To propose to the Administration that all Adventist Schools


shall bear the word ADVENTIST in the initial name of the
school.

2009 – 011 MEDIA RECOMMENDATION (1st PLENARY SESSION)


VOTED, To approve the Media Recommendation about the creation of
United Media of Adventist Institution in the Philippines (UMAIP).

2009 – 012 SENIOR LEADER’S RECOMMENDATION


VOTED, To approve the Senior Leader’s Recommendation regarding the
Permanent Secretariat will be added to the AICAP Constitution
and became Article XII.

2009 – 013 NATIONAL YOUTH COMMISSION (Senior Leader’s


Recommendation)
VOTED, To approve that AICAP shall register to the National Youth
Commission and Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating
Agency

2009 – 014 NATIONAL TERTIARY STUDENTS ORGANIZATION OF


CHED MEMORANDUM
VOTED, To approve that AICAP shall inquire and/or revive the National
Tertiary Students Organization from Commission on Higher Education.
2009 – 015 MUSIC TEAM RECOMMENDATION
VOTED, To approve the Music Team Recommendations and these are the
following:

1. To propose the creation of an Adventist Collegiate Chorale


Association of the Philippines (ACCAP).
2. To organize an ACCAP chapter in each Adventist College
and University before the nationwide association.

3. To create a website for ACCAP (www.aicap84-


accap.ning.com).

2009 – 016 MINISTRY RECOMMENDATIONS


VOTED, To approve the Ministry’s Recommendation that AICAP will have
the following:
1. Simultaneous activities such as:

a. Student week of prayer with unified theme


b. Medical Mission

2. To have joint activities such as:

a. Attend and promote the Philippine Youth Conference


or Generation of Youth for Christ - Philippines.

b. Youth camp and hiking.

2009 – 017 MEDIA RECOMMENDATION (2ND PLENARY SESSION)


VOTED, To approve the Media Recommendation and these are the four
additional recommendations listed below:

1. Publishing of UMAIP magazine (to be funded by the AICAP)

Content:

a. Literary and Feature Articles


b. Health Awareness
c. Centerfold: AICAP Promotion
d. Local chapter Reports
e. Gospel and Spiritual
f. Advertisement from Sponsor

2. To have an annual event coinciding with AICAP Summit .

a. Publication of host school shall organize the event


b. Training/workshop with competition

3. Endorsement of UMAIP to all school publications by the


editors in chief and student council officers.
4. Acceptance of officers for UMAIP

2009 – 018 SENIOR DIVISION LEADER’S RECOMMENDATION (2ND


PLENARY SESSION)
VOTED, To approve the Senior Leader’s Recommendation that AICAP shall
adopt the subsequent:
1. AICAP will support and adopt the 8 Millennium
Development Goal (8MDG’s)
2. Adopt enditnow advocacy campaign.
3. To have a memorandum of agreement/partnership/tie up
with United Nations Youth Association of the Philippines
(UNYAP).
4. Approved the membership of NLAC to AICAP upon the
latter’s confirmation.
5. AUP and MAMC student publication will produce a primer,
cd or vcd, tarpaulin layout or posters to promote the AICAP
and will it produced around the month of February.
6. Recommend a contest for the composition of the theme
song for AICAP and be submitted before August, whereas
AICAP Adviser, with the leadership of Pastor Lagabon. The
award will be P3000.00
7. To recommend that the rotation of the office be:

Social Affairs: MVC
Communication Director: AUP
External Affairs: MSHC
