D. Project Description
Millions of children in the world, particularly in Indonesia have no access to
education, work long hours under hazardous conditions, or languish in
institutions or detention centers where they endure inhumane conditions and
assaults on their dignity. Young and immature, they are often easily exploited. In
many cases, they are abused by the very individuals responsible for their care.
You and your group, as the committee of Children Protection, have a problematic
question which needs to be investigated.
Have the childrens rights in Indonesia, especially in Malang city, been
fulfilled? What can you propose to government, school, parents, and
adults to work together in upholding Childrens Right?
After you got the result of your investigation, it would be a big responsibility for
you and your group to conduct campaign and hold public hearing about your
investigation findings.
