I too have a love story

Good Morning Toastmasters. How many of you sitting in this room have fallen in love.
Please raise your hands. Cool. And how many of you havent fallen in love? What!! So
many! I thought I was the only person who is hit by the poor sex ratio of India. Sir you
didnt raise hand in either of the two categories. Are you in between making your love
story? There are a lot of beautiful ladies present here to grow your social network.
I achieved 100% rejection rate from all the girls I approached. But, I didnt get into
depression, it was not easy though, instead I devised a strategy. I opened face book and
sent random requests to 100 girls in my city hoping that at least 1 will accept your
request. The reality is out of 10 girls, 8 have boy friends and still their Face book status is
single so you can never understand whether she is available or committed or shes
confused with her choice of BF or trying to fill in the sex ratio gap by having more than
1 BF?.
Then I downloaded some interesting books such as How to get a girl in 30 days, what
women want, 99 ways to propose to a girl.
My love story started when I saw her at a party. The moment I saw her I felt Thats it!
She is the one. My eyes kept on following her through out the party & my moms eyes
were following mine. I searched her on face book; her status was single so I immediately
sent her friend request and I finally managed to change the rejection rate to 99.99%.
I wondered, now is the time to use all the skills learnt from the books and improvise my
Toastmasters communication skills. YesI am talking about the CC manual though I had
to start in reverse order
P10 -Inspire Your Audience- I played romantic songs on guitar for her. I persuaded to
make her sketch. I Researched my Topic-her favorite serial, how many soft toys she
has-. I even had to remember their names without using notes-tommy,
piggie...Sweetu, doggi. I worked on my body gestures I learnt Salsa. Yes Sumit, girls
love boys who know salsa and finally came the ice breaker of conveying my feelings to
her.
Sometimes, I even had to evaluate her. And I had to use CRC approach to provide an
honest feedback without hurting her sentiments. Darling you look amazing, your new
hairstyle really suits your personality, I would like to give a suggestion if the nail polish
and lipstick could be bit lighter, then it would have been a cherry on the cake- But
overall you look fantastic.
Believe me friends; my $56 payment to Toastmasters gave full ROI. She became my gf.
I immediately changed my facebook status to In a relationship. Now, my gf would
also call me with various names Jaanu, Shona, baby u love me na. Yes darling of
course. Oh my cuty pie, my kuchi puchi.
But, its an Indian love story. You need to take permission from your parents.
I narrated my story at home.
Suddenly, my mom started crying, accompanied by Universal Bollywood dialogue I
kept you in my womb for 9 months. I thought that one day my child will be my stick in
