Competencies, Content, Core Competences and First Peoples Principles in

opportunities for teachers to support their work with the new curriculum

Inclusion of the mental wellness curricular components in PE 10
Curricular adaptations for students with designations and IEPs to support
their learning needs

Intensive: For a Few Students

Intensive curricular adaptations for students with complex learning and


SEL needs, created in consultation with ccounsellors, case managers,
students and parents
Reduction of course requirements, and the use of a variety of instructional
and assessment techniques, if necessary, to address the big ideas and
curricular competencies at an adapted or modified level
