 Partnership Overview

Aim
The aim of this partnership between VET schools,
enterprises, and educational institutions is to
facilitate a transfer of critical information
through a combination of forums, workshops,
and visits for data collection during a 2-year
period.
 Approach

Analyzing the teaching tools, methods and
theoretical principles used by vocational schools,
training centers, and construction enterprise
trainers.

Study and find agreement in best practices of
teaching and training methods in consultation
with industry experts while noting the utility of
new technology and innovative industry
practices.
 Broad Objectives

Deepening cooperation between VETs that provide
construction training and European construction
enterprises.

Exchanging new knowledge pertaining to technology,
construction practices, and employee training needs in
Europe.

Furthering development of pedagogies and practice by
improving training delivery through a unifying medium,
a CDROM as a resource to be used by teachers and
enterprise trainers of construction trades.
 Approach

Observing training schemes practiced in
partners’ regions;

Meeting with other European specialists in order
to analyze how different countries approach
construction training;

Exchanging methodologies and the theoretical
principles through which training is delivered;

Consolidating the best practices and tools in
common.
