AIM: Implementation of tree topology on Cisco Packet tracer.

Topology: The physical topology of a network refers to the configuration of cables, computers,
and other peripherals. Physical topology should not be confused with logical topology which is
the method used to pass information between workstations.
Tree Topology
A tree topology combines characteristics of linear bus and star topologies. It consists of groups of
star-configured workstations connected to a linear bus backbone cable .Tree topologies allow for
the expansion of an existing network, and enable schools to configure a network to meet their
needs.

STEP 1: Open Cisco Packet Tracer.

STEP 2: Add server, hub and generic pcs.

STEP 3: Connect server, hubs and pcs through wire in structure of hierarchy.

STEP 4: Assign IP address of each pc, server and hub by double click on it and select desktop.

STEP 5: Add message on each pc.

STEP 6: Click on simulation and Auto caputre/Play option.

STEP 7: Message passing to each pc and communicate.

STEP 8:-Now check all the connections by pinging ip addresses of each pc.

PRACTICALNO:2(B)
Aim-: Implementation of star topology on pocket tracer.
Topology: A topology is the physical configuration of a network that determines how the
network's computers are connected. Common configurations include the bus topology, linear
bus, mesh topology, ring topology, star topology, tree topology and hybrid topology. See each of
these topology definitions for additional information and visual examples.
Star Topololgy: A star topology is one of the most common network setups. In this
configuration, every node connects to a central network device, like a hub, switch, or computer.
The central network device acts as a server and the peripheral devices act as clients.

PRACTICALNO: 2(C)
Aim:- Implement of Bus Topology on packet tracer.
Bus Topology
A bus topology is a network setup in which each computer and network device are connected to
a single cable or backbone.

Packet Tracer
Packet Tracer is a cross-platform visual simulation program designed by Cisco Systems that
allows users to create network topologies and imitate modern computer networks. The software
allows users to simulate the configuration of Cisco routers and switches using a simulated
command line interface.
Steps for Bus Topology on Packet Tracer.
STEP 1:- Open Cisco Packet tracer. And Add Switches.

STEP 3:- Use the connections and connect switches with Pc through wires.

Step 4:- All switches and PC are connected through wire or cable and set IP for built connection
between them.
