Itdependsonwhichclassyouarein.Personally,Ifeelthat10thwouldbeabettertimeforNSEA.NSEAtestsonlybasicastronomywhichyou
mayalreadyknoworcaneasilylearnfromanywhere(evenWikipediaisgoodenoughforthis).Justknowsomestarsandconstellations,some
basicastronomicalterms,butimportantly,studyeclipses.Therearealwaysafewchallengingquestionsoneclipseswhichareeasyifyoulearn
theconceptsproperly.
Thephysicsandmathematicspartshouldn'tbemuchofachallenge.Themathematicsquestionsareusuallyjusteasyquestionsondivisibility,
sequences/series,binomialtheorem,trigidentities,etc.Thereareabunchofquestionsfromintegration/matriceseveryyearwhichyoucando
onyourcalculatorasalastresort(yes,therearenonprogrammablecalculatorswhichcandointegration).
Asforphysics,thisiswherebeingin10thinsteadof11thbecomesanadvantage.In10th,youwillhavefinishedstudyingMOSTOFthe
absolutebasicsoftheJEEandNSEAsyllabus(sometopicslikethermodynamics,modernphysics,oscillatorymotionarenotatallcoveredin
9th/10thwhileyoushouldbecomfortablewithtopicslikemechanicsandbasicsofwavemotion).It'simportanttoremembereverythingyou
learninelectromagnetismandoptics,becausealmosteveryquestioninNSEAfromthesetopicscanbesolvedquiteeasilyifyouare
verystronginyour10thsyllabusofthesetopics.In10th,youwon'tlearnthesetopicsrigorously(novectors,nocalculus,etc)but
whateveryoulearnissufficient.Onceyoucometo11th,youwillhavemoretroublewiththesetopics,becauseyouwillbelearningphysicswith
calculus,andsuddenlywhateveryoulearnedlastyearmaynotseemintuitive.You'llprobablyalsoforgetsomeofit.
In10th,youhaveagreatopportunityforNSEA.Justdoallthepreviousyearquestions,justtoseethestyleofthequestions.Mostofthemcan
besolvedwithinaminuteandahalf,andtheeasyoneswithin30seconds.Ifyou'relucky,mayberepeatedwordforword.

otherwise.Ialsothinkthejuniorshavegottenalittlebetterthisyear.Iwouldn'texpectthecutofftochangemuchfromwhatitwaslastyear.I
guessitcouldbearound3644.However,I'moneofthefewpeoplewhosaythatthisyear'spaperwasharder,soifyouaskedsomeoneelse,
