If a student requires extra support outside of the classroom, I am available for extra help every
Thursday from 6:45am -7:45am. The student will obtain a support sheet from me to be filled out by
the parent and returned by Thursday.
Rules:
1) Always come to class prepared. Have PE uniform for physical education and/or
necessary class supplies for health.
2) No gum, candy or food. This is a school-wide rule. Students should not even have gum
at schoolchew it at home!!!
3) No electronic devices. This is a school-wide rule and applies to all electronic devices. Cell
phones are to be turned off and put away with the rest of your personal belongings in your
school locker during the school day.
4) No horseplay. Students should not run (unless instructed to), push, or play around. The
best policy is to keep your hands to yourself and mind your own business!
5) Be on time to class. Students have 3 minutes in between classes and a short amount of
time to get ready for Physical Education. Cut socializing down to assure you make it to class
on time and prepared!
6) Never leave the activity area or classroom without permission from your teacher.
Teachers need to have all students accounted for during class time. Permission must be
granted before using the bathroom, going to the office or going anywhere other than where
class is being conducted. Agendas must be used at all times.
7) Accidents/Injury. If a student gets injured during class, it is the students responsibility to
let his/her when leaving the classroom or gym teacher know. If the injury occurred during
PE/Health but should be an issue until a later period, please report this information back to
your PE teacher.
8) Lost Items: Teachers are not responsible for unsecured lost or stolen items.
Students are responsible for their personal belongings. All electronics, money, or
valuables left in the school locker, not physical education locker. ( Please purchase
a combination lock and label all belongings with students name)

WMS Retest/Late Work Policy

Retest Procedures:
Students who do not pass a test will have an opportunity to retest provided they have completed missing work (class work
and homework) associated with the unit and/or made test corrections within two weeks of the original test date.
The Following are School-Wide Expectations for Late/Missing Work:
(1) Students are expected to complete all work assigned by their teachers.
(2) The following are the deductions to be used for late assignments handed in within 10 school days of the
original due date.
1 day late
10% penalty
2-5 days late 20% penalty
6-10 days late 40% penalty
(3) A student may still earn a zero if they fail to hand in the assignment within the 10 day window.
(4) The original grade should be on the assignment before deduction so the student knows their level of mastery.
(5) Working Lunch may be assigned to provide incentive for students to complete a missing assignment.
Working Lunch may be assigned until the assignment is complete. If an assignment has been corrected in
class; an alternate, similar assignment may be given.
(6) Special consideration will be given in the case of extended absences due to injury or chronic illness.
