InfrontofeachpilottherearetwohugeLCDs,namedthePrimaryFlightDisplay(PFD)andtheNavigationalDisplay(ND).Showninthepictureatthe
bottom,bothfortheCopilotandthePilotsNDishalfvisible.TheNDsarenormallyleftintheMAPmodeshownhere,displayinga80ofcompass
rose.OthermodesaretheVORMode(displayspointersandindicatorsrelatedtoradionavigation),APPModeandthePlanMode.Betweenthose
fourdisplaysthereistheEngineIndicationAndCrewAlertingSystem(EICAS).
ThisDisplayshowsfuelinformation,flapsandlandinggearpositionandotherimportantinfo.OnthepicturetheEICASdisplaystheenginefanspeed
(uppercircles)andtheenginesexhausttemperature.OntheleftoftheEICASthereisabackupinstrumentandontherightthepanelforthe
landinggears.AbovetheLCDsthereareateachendthecontrolsforEFIS(PFD).Betweenthosearetheautopilotcontrol,headingcontrol,altitude
controlandradiofrequencycontrolandtotheleftofthecopilotsEFIScontroltheMFDcontroller.Intherightcorneryoucanseethedisplayofthe
Class3ElectronicFlightBag(EFB),KLMwasthelaunchcustomerforthisaddon.Thenewtechnologyobviatestheneedforawholerangeofpaper
manuals,maps,andflightlogsinthecockpitandfurtherenablespilotstointegrateandlinkawidevarietyofcrucialdata.AndtheEFBcandisplay
livestreamingfromthecabinsurveillancesystem.Abovethesecontrolsthereisacentrelocatedcompass.Ontheoverheadpaneltherearethe
panelsforlights(nearcompass),Passengersigns,AntiIce,Electrical,Fuel,Hydraulical,ThrustAsymmetry,ServiceInterphoneandEnginestart.

indicators.TheELECpagedisplaysthegraphicrepresentationofthe777Electricalsystem.TheHYDpageshowsagraphicviewofthe777hydraulic
system.TheFUELpagedisplaysagraphicofthe777'sfuelsystemwiththequantityoffuelshownineachtankandintotal.TheDOORpageshows
thestatusofeachdoorincludingcargodoors.TheGEARpageshowsthepositionofthegearbaydoors,alsoeachwheelisshownwithasmallbox
andanumber(between0,0and10,0:upto2,9isnormal3,0to5,0isCautionrange5,0andaboveisoverheatrange).
