ARCADIA HIGH SCHOOL PTSA

"APACHE PRIDE" MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

2016-2017
The #1 reason to join AHS PTSA is to support your school, your
teachers and most importantly your student.

Objective: Grow our membership - signing on more parents, teachers, students

and community members! Our PTSA is dedicated to making our school the
BEST environment for educating your students that it can be. By
joining AHS PTSA, you are supporting all of our great work- providing
programs to enrich our student's curriculum, continued efforts to
advocate in Sacramento, financing scholarships for students and
teachers and fostering communication between parents, teachers and
students. Studies show that involved parents tend to have safer and
higher achieving students. Become a PTA member and show your
APACHE PRIDE!

Strategy to provide visual impact: Pass out "APACHE PRIDE" buttons to all
PTSA members. We will announce through list serve asking parents to support our
"APACHE PRIDE" campaign by coming to our PTSA table at BTSN or an upcoming
football game to pick up their button if they have already purchased a membership.
We will have an excel sheet that lists all members to date) . Or come sign up and
show your students that you support them and their school.

Cost: PTSA will purchase buttons through PTSA donations we received at Apache
days (ex: 4,000 buttons @ .17 each = $680 or 3,000 buttons @.17=$5.10); We will
pay back the money by simultaneously selling APACHE PRIDE T-shirts at our
membership tables. The creative on the button and t-shirt will match (see below)
so we can send out a blanket statement.
SAMPLE MESSAGES THAT WENT OUT TO PARENTS ON LIST SERVE:
