Audience theories;

Two-step Flow: is a theory that suggests how the

leaders opinions within society influence attitudes and
opinions of the audience.
Hypodermic needle: is where media messages can be
injected into the audience as well as influence the way
the audience act.
Desensitisation: is a theory that implies how too
many messages released in the media can affect the
audience until it is seen as acceptable and the normal.
An example is how in music videos the crazy style then
becomes the normal.
Maslows Hierarchy of needs: there are 5 layer
pyramids that are the basic needs of the human
posses. The five layers are;

Physiological needs
Safety needs
Social needs
Esteem needs
Self actualization
