INNER MOTIVE OF AUTHOR
In a way whatever thoughts with reference to ancient philosophical texts are
written in this book as a result of research, except newspaper quotations for
information of science, express intention of my mind. Though I am not a man of
letters, I have tried to express those as a simple line of thinking. I hope readers find
these worth studying.
I have firm belief that whatever our ancient knowledgeable sages have said as
per spiritual thinking, there are no shortcomings or mistakes of any kind in it.
Predictive astrology is not the original intention of ancient sages. Instead of decking
the science as predictive astrology to make it attractive or erroneously, it is better to
accept it in its original form, i.e. as Hora Shastra, which if used as it is is proving
far more useful to society than predictive astrology. The expanse of this science is
very big and human intelligence and memory is insufficient to handle it. To cover up
this lack of knowledge or for whatever reason, this science was used by adorning it
with another out of Shastra (shastra-bahya), wrong attributes which do not give
claimed results. Knowledgeable persons and followers of modern science therefore
started to find that its claims were not justified, that it appeared of no use and in
general astrology itself started to get bad name. Such astrologers, who were assigning
entirely different meaning to Shastra which was originally not at all there, were not
aware that this was bringing disrepute to ancient knowledgeable sages who had
composed this Shastra, then where is the question of service to the Shastra?
Thus because of inadequacy of human memory, many faults and lacunae arose
in this excellent Shastra and no other alternative had remained for us except to change
the present method of using this science. We have developed a method following
ancient science of astrology, using modern scientific method, following spiritual
thought and overcoming all above shortcomings. We decided to make use of computer
and composed a program to satisfy various requirements such as vast unfailing
memory, very high speed of computing and accuracy. A computer is a neutral, very
powerful tool available at present time, can do hundreds of calculations accurately in a
second, strictly follows instructions of program, is dependable, is trusted by society
and overcomes constraints of human capacity. Now in this program, Hora Shastra is
precisely followed and whatever is opinion of Shastra that only is accurately
determined and displayed in the form of graph. For this research, Ph.D. as has been
given to me, while honor of Jeevan Gaurav for life time achievement has been
bestowed on me and it has been established that this program is proving useful to
society even in foreign countries. Now it remains to do further work on this new
method in new subjects, to do further research and to further increase or consolidate
trust and reliability.
So far astrology was neglected by followers of modern science and
knowledgeable persons. In this neither they were wrong nor was astrology at fault. It
was due to wrong interpretation of purpose, wrong practices that prevailed due to
either human inadequacy of memory for this science or other reasons. Now that with
the help of research and use of computer program-a tools of modern science- this
ancient science is proved to be true and shown to give results with accuracy up to 90
p.c. many have started to find this science much more trustworthy. This trust will
further increase if this method is taught in colleges and Universities under the subject
Recomposition of Astrology by Scientific Method which will help remove present
shortcomings, and it will be more useful to both practitioners and society. Except
some religious rites and practices, many facets of our ancient spiritual thought are

useful to society even at present time. Astrology is one such facet which I have
researched, put forth in scientific manner and have proved that this is proving very
useful to society. Such other facets must be researched and put forth in scientific
manner and proved useful to society as we have done here. We who are inheritors of
great, time tested Indian Culture and amongst us those who are highly educated should
take up this job. In a way it will be saintly work and useful to whole world.
In any way, our ancient knowledgeable sages have composed these Shastras for
whole world, not for only Bharat. Situation is such that we are chief inheritors of these
but we are not paying any attention to these. World has recognized that Sanskrit is
best language for computers and in all manners. We say with hollow pride that it is
ours but Germany and other nations have recognized its importance more than us. In
some schools in U.S. BhagvadGita is taught compulsorily. Our future generations
will not forgive us for looking down as useless on what is ours under the garb of
wiseness while rest of the world hails it.
It is drummed loudly that whole world will be happy due to modern science.
But science in itself is not good or bad. The brains behind, which put it to use, must be
wise and knowledgeable. I have come to the opinion that so long as scientists and wise
persons do not study our spiritual philosophy, till then world will not be happy with
the help of science alone, on the other hand, it may cause destruction.
NOTE -- Do not expect that something surprising outside the rut of spiritualism
and science will happen in life. Expectation from astrology should only as much as is
kept from guidance from doctor, lawyer, engineer. Now, instead of running after some
fancy, imaginary easy gains, this much we have proved that we can certainly get
guidance from this Shastra to achieve something more satisfactory by our own efforts.
Though the book is deliberately priced low to be affordable to ordinary people,
still there is a lot which can be taken from this book and which is of social good.

5.1.4 Changes Made for Simultaneously Using All Rules & Methods.
Many methods and innumerable rules are given in shastra and these are for
accurately using Shastra. Limitations of human memory made it impossible to use all
those simultaneously and that has been resulting in shortcoming in accuracy in
guidance. This shortcoming is removed by use of computer, a tool of modern science.
We wanted that any common man should get guidance as per complete study
of astrology, but he himself should not need to study it fully, so that errors arising
from incomplete study would be corrected. For this purpose it was very necessary to
do some modifications-not changes- in study of astrology. We have incorporated those
modifications in our method. We first determined favorable and unfavorable fruit
giving capacity in percent of all rules and methods and have used both types, like in
double entry book keeping, in our computer program of graphic.
5.1.4.1 Modifications Needed for Utilizing Speed of Computer are accepted.
Graphic Method means to take Subject wise cognizance simultaneously of
both favorable and unfavorable periods obtained by simultaneously considering sign,
planet, constellation, house, Vargabal, Ashtakvarg, Vimshottari, transit, aspect,
signification of planets and houses, strength and weakness, avastha, yog etc.all as per
modification no. 1 (Ref. 4.2.2 and 4.2.3) . Main modification done by us is to evaluate
-with chart of jatak and presently prevailing situation- the level of accuracy of all the
rules and methods. Because of human limitations and inadequacies of memory and
doing computations, we have made use of computer for this evaluation. This is the
major modification which we have done. We have succeeded in scientifically unifying
spiritualism (Adhyatma), science and Shastra of astrology when doing all these
modifications, that is why we are getting 90 p.c. accurate guiding. We all know that

computer does not have its own intelligence, but when it operates as per precise
instructions specified by man, then man can not have the speed and accuracy of the
computer.
The extent of work is so big that a person good in mathematics will require at
least eight hours for using all the rules and methods simultaneously and find
favorability or un-favorability of one day!! Now, generally a man can do any work for
eight hours every day. At this rate, it will take one year to find out in this way
favorability or un-favorability of 365 days. This is not at all useful. The person who
has approached you wants immediate solution to his difficulty. This is why we
adopted this major change i.e. we gave all precise instructions and necessary data
bank to computer and assigned this work to computer so that we get the answer in few
moments because speed of computer.
5.1.4.2 Simultaneous Use of 6 houses & all Planets in Chart for One Subject.
Modification or Change No.2 We have done one more important change in
this method. As per tradition, for any subject, one or two houses are taken into
consideration. While studying Shandilya, Ashtakvarga and old Shastra, we planned to
do one modification. During in depth study of astrology it was observed that any fruit
is not totally dependent on any one house; fruit indication was correctly reached from
combination of many houses and many planets. For example, in traditional system
deeper consideration is seen like considering relation of owner of third house from
third with matters signified by 3rd house, owner of the house third from 3 rd of 3rd is
also considered. All houses in chart are arranged such that all houses connected
amongst them, so that 3rd house can be placed in place of Lagnabhav (first house) and
then the investigation done. In traditional method, one would depend only on 3 rd
house, planets in 3 rd house, and relation of others with that planet and house, then
essence of all this is taken to draw conclusion. But as per our research, we have
further included the houses supporting and opposing also. Capacity obtained is not
uniform for all houses, but broadly houses in Nav-pancham yog have come out
supporting while those in Shadashtak yog have come out showing opposition. As per
fruit giving capacity, when owners of these supporting and opposing houses and karak
(significations) planets are included, then for every subject six houses and all planets
get considered.
As we can see, these are not changes or deviations. At the most it can be said
that this is an effort to use that part of old texts which was not paid any attention till
date. We have adopted manner of taking positive or favorable, and negative or
unfavorable decisions. For positive or favorable side we can consider appropriate,
pleasurable, positive yogas like nav-pancham bhavas and their lords, natural karak
planets, auspicious planets and friendship between them, favorable aspects as per
degrees angle etc. On the negative or unfavorable side, we can consider Shadashtak
bhavas and their lords, un-favorability of natural karak planets in houses, enmity
between planets, inauspicious aspects in degrees between planets etc. Thus decision
making is arranged in two parts.
Parts having preference in the first stage are main houses, planets in those
houses, house lords and natural Karak planets and their desirable or undesirable
relation with other houses as per traditional thinking and each of these are given
points. As per double entry method of fruit giving capacity, this comes in two
numbers, one positive and other negative and in this stage these are generally taken as
these are obtained. In the second stage, secondary supporting houses and planets are
similarly considered for positive and negative sides and given points. Then first two
stages are combined and in third stage, inferences of transit up to degrees, Vimshottari
Dashas and relation of 1100 main rules of astrology to each other etc. are scientifically
added.

In this, favorable and unfavorable points of first stage are modified, by

percentage method to the extent of 33 p.c., according to supporting and opposing
points of second stage. In this way, percentage capacity of supporting side and
opposing side is calculated separately. In the chart under subject, we have termed this
as Darja (status).
After this, according to the points of transit obtained in similar way plus points of
Vimshottari Dasha, percentage Darja obtained above is again modified. Thus two
modifications are done and positive and negative points of first stage are completely
altered. Here favorable and unfavorable percentages are subtracted and if it is
favorable it is shown above center line, while if it is unfavorable it is shown below
center line. Now this is situation of one day. Because of difficulties of computer, 365
points can not be shown on graph, therefore I have divided a month in four parts- 1 to
9, 10 to 15, 16 to 22, and 23 to month end- and as per average of each of four parts,
and four points are shown. (I have no intention to keep secret what I have done.)
Thus, in all 5 to 6 houses, all the planets, positive and negative points of fruit
giving capacity referring to all rules and as per double entry method (meaning if this
capacity is 60 p.c., then +60 and -40) and similar percentage of other supporting or
secondary methods all are comprehensively considered. This inference can be had for
any subject, only darja changes according to concerned & relevant rules. You will
notice that there is big difference in our method and present widespread method of
considering only one or two houses and two or three planets. Further, many
shortcomings are eliminated in our method by connecting time measuring method of
Vimshottari Dasha and transit.
When doing all this, we have chiefly achieved connection of planets, houses,
Yog, and subjects of Karakatva coming in these. There are in all 43 different subjects.
Suppose we take human body as the subject, then only the rules concerned with
human body will be applied by the computer, therefore favorability or un-favorability
appearing in the graph will only be for the subject body. Other subjects will not be
included in it. If any other subject needs to be included, graph of that subject can be
had and perused. Thus we get time wise favorability or un-favorability of planetary
positions for required subject and we can use the same. This is a novel technique and
can not be called as a fundamental change in astrology. Change of presenting in graph
form in place of chart can be there. Only difference is that we have followed the
method of comprehensive subject wise thinking of Shastra principles and rules.
5.1.4.3 Fineness of Considering Degrees over Constellations or Sign/Rashi.
Modification No.3We have included one more important thought, which is
normally not seen used by any one. In traditional method when considering a planet
in a sign, it is only broadly considered in which sign it is located. In old times,
Karakatva of a planet inside a sign is written, but at that time thinking of locations
inside a sign also had begun. It has not stopped at constellation (Nakshtra), but
Karakatva up to a degree have been discovered. It was observed that many give
thought up to constellation or star level, but that up to degree was not taken in to
consideration. A constellation consists of 13.33 degrees so considering up to degree is
that much minutes. In our method, for a subject, we have included Karaktvas up to
degree level calculations are done accordingly for favorable or unfavorable period.
Probably this may be the reason for getting 90% accuracy in results of this graphic.
We have made use the method of Karaktvas up to degree only for transit positions of
planets.
In old texts, Karaktvas up to degree are given. When investing a chart,
Shani(Saturn) of Mesh (Aries) sign is how it is thought. But in our method, when it is
separately considered as Aries Saturn of 12 degrees, then all 30 degree divisions of a
sign get considered in this manner. Thus instead of considering 12 signs, 360 divisions
each of 1 degree are considered and hence minuteness of consideration has increased

greatly. Ascendant revolves through 360 deg. app. in 24 hours. In this revolving,
anywhere in world, any one sign- say Mesh- will remain on horizon for approx. two
hours. Therefore innumerable children will be born on this day having Aries (Mesh)
ascendant. Very large no. of children will have same chart to a fraction of a degree of
ascendant, leave alone planets. If we consider only broadly by the method of a planet
in a sign, then there will not be even a minute change in their charts at all as we have
seen earlier. Then is the future, destiny of all these children is to be considered
identical? Then this will happen like fruits of Moon sign, isnt it? But because in
Graphic Method, consideration up to a degree is done, so in above large no. of nearly
same charts also different fruits will be considered to a large extent. Therefore why
minuteness of this method will not result in much higher accuracy? This also may be
one of the reasons behind 90 p.c. accuracy of our method.
Minuteness up to degree is needed, but not to use it is current practice. If two
planets in a sign are only 3-4 deg. apart, they can be said to be conjunction. This
difference is different for fast moving and slow moving planets. But many of us
astrologers tell the fruits of conjunction simply when two planets are in one sign
without paying attention to how many degrees distance is there. Broadly when
distance between two planets in a sign is greater than 14 deg., they will generally be in
different houses in Bhavchalit Kundali (chart). Two planets with only 2-3 deg.
distances between them also are seen falling in different houses in Bhavchalit
Kundali. If we are not considering these essential fine points, then we have to think
how far honest we are with the science of astrology, is it not so? To use the lame
excuse is it to be looked so minutely? to cover ignorance is not right.
5.1.4.4 Change of Using Date of Event.
In the present way of using this Shastra, destiny was ignored but
consideration of destiny was must. Having taken it has brought ease in getting
accuracy.
Modification No.4-- With reference to the question, planet positions may be
same in birth charts of thousands of persons, but the destiny of any two of them will
never be identical. Therefore the sequence, time, method, effects of events will never
be completely matching with each other. Here it is immediately seen that because the
birth charts are same so this difference can not be found out from charts because
destiny of each one is different. This matter is agreeable to many astrologers but it is
not acted upon.
For a given subject, planetary disposition is same in birth charts of many
natives, from which as per astrology it is inferred that such & such event will happen
in the life of the native. But no one can correctly and with certainty tell in what
manner that event will happen, how and when it will happen. This really is a
limitation of astrology and not a shortcoming. That is why I am of the opinion that, in
a way, some persons who try to give decisive predictions are causing harm to the
science of astrology. If it is so, then how to tackle it was a big question before me. For
this, in our method of guiding, we have adopted a fundamental change.
Many astrologers are observed to give answers of many questions from
Lagna chart alone, and in this, above important point appears to be ignored. Even
when birth charts are same, events in life are observed to be happening at different
times and in completely different ways because of difference of destinies. Most
remarkable is that these events happen due to individuals destiny. Nobody knows the
destiny. I used this method only to resolve this complexity. In the life of many, from
the past events of their life, it is possible to account for their different, individual
nature of destinies. It is this point only which we have incorporated in our Graphic
Method. Whatever the favorability or un-favorability in the subject of the event in his
life, it is according to his destiny only and this is why that desirable or undesirable
event has happened. From the date of the event we know positions of transiting

planets on that day and even though the charts are same, that same event has not
happened in the life of other person. This difference in two is important. In our
method, we have given preference to transiting planet positions of the day of
happening only over those in his birth chart, so this difficulty did not remain. Even if
planetary positions are same in birth charts of many, still the time or period of event
and transiting planet positions of that period are different. Due to graphic, we get to
understand favorable or unfavorable nature of destiny for the day of event or
happening, which is different for each individual and mainly that indicates the
favorability or un-favorability of the event for future period. In this way, we get
indication of destiny behind an event which had happened and this is a very powerful
gain we have in our method. Therefore even if charts are similar, still guidance
obtained is different. Any one will agree with this point that if this method is not
followed, the difference like this can not happen for identical or very similar charts of
two or more individuals. It may be twins or any other chart, accuracy is certainly
achieved if all natives are guided by this same method. Because of this method a big
shortcoming in guiding a person as per rules of astrology is removed. In other
methods answers of several questions are given only from the chart of native, while in
our method, because of this, indication of destiny for every different subject can be
inferred from the event of that subject and its date of happening. This major difference
can be noticed immediately and easily..
In the presently prevalent method, it is difficult to tell in which way an event
will develop or progress. In June 2006 issue of GRAHANKIT, I have shown what can
be known from graphic investigation, with the example of event of 22 April in case of
Shri Pramod Mahajan. It can be seen from this that graphs of many subjects can be
used to investigate only one event, and thoughts can be put forth as a method of
guidance instead of as predictions.
With the help of happenings or events in life, planetary favorability or unfavorability in life for a related subject is to be investigated as per Koshtashtak. If
destiny of permanent type is unfavorable, then it is definite that great efforts will be
required for happiness or pleasure of that subject, and also there is no certainty of
success. There can be a need to make changes in this subject according to what is
possible or not possible for the native. On the other hand there may be favorability,
but person can keep on making mistake of not doing or abandoning such work in
future unfavorable period and suffer loss or harm, which can be prevented with the
help of this graph. What we are going to get may already be fixed in our destiny, but if
we can avoid the mistakes we make when getting destined sufferings, we get good
happiness. We find that some persons have all kind of wealth but they are still
unhappy is because of this reason.
We will see in detail in section 10 that astrology is composed incorporating
only materialistic thought and spiritual happenings are not included in it. Events
happen in life by two ways1. Due to destiny. 2. Due to Kriyamaan Karmas. (Sanchit
are Karmas already happened in number of past lives. Destiny or prarabdh are good or
bad sufferings in this life. Kriyamaan Karmas are Karmas of current life.) Now
desirable or undesirable nature of the event is understood from graph. If there is
favorability in graph, it broadly means event is good, harmless or unable or incapable
to generate un-favorability, its effects in future will be desirable. On the contrary if
there is un-favorability in graph, then it is bad, incapable to generate favorability,
effects in future will be desirable is the rule that gets formed.
Though it is so, in our method both rules have different use. The any subject
in our life begins in some manner, for example getting married for family happiness,
getting service for living etc. Now having agreed to influence of permanent type of
destiny on the beginning of a subject, e.g. the date of marriage, or date of joining
service are taken in B1/B2 of Koshtashtak. For this investigation, destined events only
are required; events of Sanchit karma are of no use.

No one at present has any knowledge to understand which events are due to
destiny and which events are of karma of present life. Therefore this matter is very
complex to explain and to understand. Even then I have discussed in this book about
which events should be investigated from my own experience. Destined events: - It is
not necessary that present actions of native are having any strong connection with
these. These events happen suddenly or without there being any knowledge meaning
there is no idea when these will happen. If some events are decidedly done, even then
decision can be under influence of destiny. For example, some times destiny
deliberately creates confusion in the mind to give destined sufferings to a person. The
path which should not be taken, the path for which many are opposing to take it, but a
person does not follow it under the influence of destiny. Later mishap takes place and
the person loses his life in an accident. There are several such matters due to which it
is difficult to know if the sequence of events is due to destiny or due to kriyamaan
karma. In the present time, we do many deeds, as a result of which many events do
happen. These events happen in many different ways according to fault or intelligence
in the method of that deed. Where responsibility of, or reasoning of the doer is clear,
such deeds fall in kriyamaan karma.
Even then, it should be understood that usual routine activities like to start
going to school, result of an examination, getting monthly salary in service or their
sequence are not destined. It should be remembered that these usual routine actions
are not useful for investigation of B1/B2 type of destiny. Inclusion of these in
investigation of events in graph is useless. This is a topic from Koshtashtak and it will
become clear later.
5.1.4.5 Change of Composition of Result & Its Reason.
Modification No.5 -- In ancient time, as per art 4, the form or composition of
result was suitable for social order and other situation existing in those times. Todays
situation is vastly different; therefore form of result had to be changed in that
reference. A thought came to my mind that in future there will be further changes and
composition of result may have to be changed again! One important thing here is that
there is no question of altering or changing the purport of our forefathers. Change is in
the form only.
For example, according to our forefathers, result of Mars (Mangal) in 7th
house is it creates some difficulties in married life. Now there are many sides to or
subjects of married life. Various difficulties in fixing of marriage, being in love with
some one but that to be fruitless due to opposition from kith and kin, getting married
but not as per own desire, being deceived in marriage, not married but getting
happiness like marriage, got married but separated because of ill omen or accident or
misunderstanding or getting to know hidden truth, not having children, not getting
along with close family members etc. numerous subjects are included in happiness of
married life. It will be a big mistake if we go ahead assuming that all these are only
due to Mars in seventh house. In old times natives might have had some type of
misfortune on large scale, but the same can not be assumed in present times. Reason is
changes in social order, customs and behavior. Few centuries ago marriages of
children cradles were taking place, these days it is common that the age is in thirties,
in future it could be in fifties. In old times marriage was only between man and
woman, in present marriages of same sex persons are happening, in future it could be
with animals! Earlier only parents used to fix marriage and often husband and wife
would see each others face on the first night after marriage only. These days parents
tell their children, You decide amongst yourself, dont involve us in it. Some times
marriage was done in hurry because girl got pregnant. In coming period, old mother
could be with one child and old father with another child by rotation amongst their
children, but no guarantee that their children are married, because live-in relationships
are becoming common. Thus so many changes have taken place in society and will
continue to be there in future also.

Mars in 7th house gives undesirable fruit regarding married life is original
result which we have not changed, but it should be taken into account that its
qualitative influence has changed due to changed circumstances. It does not mean that
because Mars is in 7th house so marriage will not take place or that such persons
should not marry. But we are finding from our experience that percentage of getting
fruits of Mars in 7th house in old times has changed a lot as a consequence of changes
that society has undergone, and we have taken this into account. We have included
actual statistical inference of this rule in our program because we feel that such
changes with time in social behavior must be included in guidance. Some rules must
be having high accuracy when Shastra was composed and today their accuracy may be
less, while for some other rules their accuracy may have gone up, and we will have to
take into account such differences.
The modifications that we have done are as per spiritual principles and only
qualitative. Had we changed the result, it was not possible to take it into computer
program. In my opinion, changes in result will not be possible to do without spiritual
penance. Many have done such changes but with few i.e. 8-10 cases. Many such cases
of change of result seem to be due to personal opinions. Reasoning as per Shastra for
the change done is not given by anybody anywhere. To assume that such thoughts that
came to mind are as per Shastra has been proving wrong. Again when doing such
changes, line of thinking is not seen remaining consistent with each other. Discussion
of this matter is seen in book written by Shri. Nawathe. When there are differences of
opinion amongst a knowledgeable person like Shri. Nawathe and others, again
question arises whose opinion new students are to follow. Because of this reason, I
was not left with any attraction of changing results of rules except their percentage as
and where needed by changed society. Because of qualitative change, the period in
which Jatak is going to accept the decision of graph due to influence on quality of
mind, those decisions are going to be accepted as per qualitative state at that time.
Therefore these qualitative changes can continue for thousands of years without
changing the method. In short, after considerable thinking, as per spiritual line of
thought, I made the change considering only three qualities influencing mind (Raj,
Tama, Sattva). So arrangement had to be done in results that those will be applicable
to society of any period and those will be thought referring to that period, and we have
done the same.
5.1.4.6 To Inspect Nature of Destiny Subject wise for Subject of Query.
After feeding date & time of birth and lat.-long., of place of birth to
computer, we have to give Sr. No. of question and period for which graph is required,
then graph is drawn. As per rule of graph, for the subject of graph, date wise
favorability or unf-avorability is understood from color alone. This is the indication of
destiny for that subject and it is obtained by using all the rules and methods of
astrology. In a way it is picture of favorability or un-favorability of planet positions.
Events happening in life never happen due to influence of planets. But our
seers and sages have found out that influence and positions of planets are indicative,
these are signals and from this they composed Hora Shastra. If events happening in
life are happening as per destiny, and if these have connection with planetary
positions, then as per rules of Hora Shastra, a destined desirable event must happen
when planetary position is favorable. On the other hand, destined undesirable event
must happen in unfavorable positions of planets. Because destiny is inscrutable, use of
this indication can be made only for guidance instead for prediction. Spiritual
philosophy tells that The Supreme Being does everything but remains like non-doer
i.e. never attaches or involves Himself in anything, therefore does not take to himself
reasoning of any event. According to this reference also destiny can not be self
existing. Whatever desirable or undesirable fruit in the destiny of a person, destiny has
to wait for two things while giving that fruit to that person. 1. It has to wait for
suitable favorable or unfavorable planetary position for giving the fruit. 2. It has to

wait for suitable situation to develop for fruit to be enjoyed by the person and then
only the event happens. Because these restrictions are obeyed, that is why just as the
reason of fruit enjoyed is definitely found in planetary positions as per rules of Hora
Shastra, likewise Science also finds the reason in material situation at that time.
Therefore the reasoning of the event happening shapes up like this, -- 1.Astrologerthe event happened because of such & such planet positions, 2. Scientist- As per
circumstantial evidence, the event happened in such and such manner. Both stand firm
on their opinions. But I say that reasoning of both is completely wrong. Destiny has
firstly waited for unfavorable, or favorable, planetary position to make the event
happen and secondly destiny has also waited for appropriate circumstances to be there
on earth to occur. When both these have occurred then only destiny has made that
event to happen to that person. Here one who has that event to happen is destiny,
neither planets nor the circumstances. Thus reasoning of event found by both the
astrologer and scientist as per their methods proves to be wrong.
Now if we look from the point of view of studies of astrology, it will be not
possible to guess what the above circumstances of event will be, likewise it is also
not possible to foretell which circumstances destiny will be making use of . Because
of these two reasons, it is not possible to guess when and in which circumstances
event will happen. Further, exactly in which favorable or unfavorable planetary
positions the fruit to be enjoyed will be given is difficult for us to know. Here, in
which circumstances and when it will happen is not understood by us, so thinking of
prediction becomes crippled. Now, what use can we make of the available system? If
destiny is going to wait for favorable or unfavorable planetary positions for giving
desirable or undesirable fruit respectively, then if we know planetary positions
themselves, in that case we can know in which period we will get desirable and in
which period undesirable fruit. Seers had understood exactly this, which is why they
composed Hora Shastra and this is the limitation of Shastra.
If destiny is choosing type of fruit-desirable or undesirable- to be given to a
person as per planetary positions favorable or unfavorable to him, then once we know
favorability and un-favorability of planetary positions, then we can have definite guess
when favorable or unfavorable event of a subject can happen and exactly this we have
used in our graph. Because of inadequacy of human memory, we can not know this
favorability or un-favorability of planetary positions, so we have assigned this to
computer and thus accomplished our job. Secondly, if distribution of good or bad is
going to be according to favorable or unfavorable planetary positions then that only
becomes desirable or undesirable influence of destiny. That is why we have decided
that favorability or un-favorability of graph itself is dependent on destiny. Because of
this reasoning and according to investigation of life events and their timing of
thousands of persons it has been proved.
When we draw graph for any subject for a period of one year, then for that
subject, period s in green color should be considered auspicious or favorable for
destined influence. On the contrary if in red color it should be understood to be
inauspicious or unfavorable. Up to this we have seen the part of destined fruits to be
had. Now we will consider karmas for accumulation (Sanchit).
The deeds we do in the present, we get their fruits immediately or with some
delay in the same life. But some powerful karma happen in this life. Desirability or
undesirability of that present karma generates likewise Sanchit. When this life is over,
then those karmas from Sanchit are transformed into Prarabdh. In this way we pay
back past debts while keep on taking daily new loans. This waterwheel keeps going on
continuously because of which we keep on moving away from liberation. Present or
current karma has very important place in life. By completing suffering for past evil
karmas and do good karmas in current life and store those in Sanchit, we can get good
birth. Or if enjoyment of current karma is forsaken, then addition to Vanchit halts and
we can go ahead towards liberation. This is the fact, so do not assume at all that

everything in our life happens as per destiny. Through the karmas required to be done
for Sanchit, The Supreme Being has provided us the facility of proceeding towards
whichever path we want.
The karma we do for Sanchit in this life, on that also there is indirect control
of destiny in a different manner. We need to understand it how. The karma we are
doing and what we expect to get out of it, about getting that if there is obstacle in
destiny, then destiny will be against it happen smoothly. If there is no obstacle, then
same destiny will help us in that karma. This process we call as luck. Destiny keeps on
doing both kinds of these jobs in same manner, i.e. in the period of unfavorable
planetary positions for a subject; it causes obstructions and helps in period of
favorable planetary positions. In short, indirectly it obstructs or helps through medium
of planetary positions and circumstances. It is here that we have freedom of
recognizing trend of destiny and tread.
For example, one girl is to get undesirable happenings in the matter of family
life. How will be the likely actions of destiny? Her falling in love with a boy from
whom she will not get happiness, parents to approve same boy, relatives to encourage
about same boy, all matters of marriage to be agreed without any hitch, all such
situational facets will be taken care of by destiny. But girl is to be given undesirable
fruits, so for this to achieve, destiny will make efforts to see that the marriage takes
place during that period when planetary position is unfavorable. Seers and sages
understood this instrument of Hora Shastra and they have composed the Shastra. The
dates on which above mentioned events, from falling in love to settling of various
matters regarding marriage, happened will tell us from graph the intention of destiny.
We have to understand that intention of destiny and then decide whether to do or not
to do marriage with that boy. Following two keys- with efforts we can extract oil even
from sand, and one must first do utmost efforts- we can rectify Sanchit by our karma
and must do those rectifications. Even if we can not stop the events of destined
suffering, by means of karmas in present life, we can certainly succeed in improving
our sanchit. By knowing favorable or unfavorable sides of destiny in a subject, we can
rectify obstacles in present karma. Graph is going to be definitely useful in accurately
taking advantage of planetary positions.
Such events which happen in life are very important. You must have seen in
GRAHANKIT issue of June 2006 how deep comes the investigation of date 22-042006 in the case of Shri. Pramod Mahajan. A person may not remember various dates
like when his marriage took place, when his children were born, when he joined his
first job or other jobs and other favorable or unfavorable events, but it is possible to
get dates of some of these events from records.This only is important means for
getting accurate guidance from graph.
