Clinical case

SPECIES: dog
BREED: Labrador Retriever
GENDER: female
AGE: 10 YO
NAME: Artemis
Artemis developed a form of tetraparesis over a short time, showing increasingly severe
progressive symptoms. She was hospitalised and given cortisone therapy. The instrumental
tests performed did not reveal any abnormality. The first symptoms were lameness and right
hind limb weakness. This weakness increased to develop into tetraparesis.
Therapy
In addition to the tetraparesis there was also a marked muscle atrophy and pressure sores.
Various programs were used with the Mphi Vet device: "wound", "arthrosis" and "back pain".
In addition to the MLS Laser Therapy, Artemis underwent hydrotherapy and electro stimulation.
Results
Artemis returned home on her legs after three weeks of hospitalisation.
As maintenance therapy, she undergoes two sessions per month of MLS Laser Therapy and

NOMBRE: Artemis
Artemis ha desarrollado una forma de tetraparesia durante un breve periodo de tiempo,
mostrando sntomas progresivos cada vez ms severas. Ella fue hospitalizado y se le dio
tratamiento con cortisona. Las pruebas instrumentales realizadas no revelaron ninguna
anormalidad. Los primeros sntomas fueron cojera y derecho debilidad de las extremidades
posteriores. Esta debilidad se increment a convertirse en tetraparesia.
Terapia
Adems de la tetraparesia tambin haba una atrofia muscular y llagas de presin marcada.
Varios programas fueron utilizados con el dispositivo Vet Mphi: "herida", "artrosis" y "dolor de
espalda".
Adems de la terapia con lser MLS , Artemis se someti a la hidroterapia y la
electroestimulacin.
resultados
Artemis volvi a casa en sus piernas despus de tres semanas de hospitalizacin.
Como terapia de mantenimiento, se somete a dos sesiones por mes de terapia con lser MLS
e hidroterapia.
