IN THE SPOTLIGHT

S-76 Fleet Exceeds Four Million Flight Hours

Sikorsky is proud to announce that its S-76 fleet has accumulated more than four
million total flight hours. This achievement was made possible by the over 220
operators currently flying close to 600 aircraft in 59 countries around the world.

“The S-76 is a versatile product capable of flying anywhere, under difficult

conditions, with unmatched range and speed. Its success has been built
by meeting the needs of our customers throughout the S-76’s long and
distinguished tenure,” said Jeff Pino, Sikorsky’s senior vice president of
marketing and commercial programs. “Hitting four million flight hours attests
to the S-76’s status as the preferred choice for hundreds of commercial
operators around the world. It combines total reliability, comfort and safety.”

Even legacies leave room for improvement however, which

prompted Sikorsky to announce in February 2005 a series of
upgrades available for order immediately on the new S-76C++
helicopters and a set of additional product improvements that will lead to the launch of the new S-76D model in 2008.

Product improvements to the S-76C++ include: a Turbomeca Arriel 2S2 engine upgrade, new
VIP interior, health and usage monitoring system, and the implementation of new quiet zone
technology which will enable significant interior noise level reductions without weight penalty.

The S-76D will build upon the upgrades slated for the S-76C++ with additional enhancements to include: a new
composite main rotor blade, a new quiet tail rotor, a rotorcraft icing protection system, a new cockpit with an integrated
avionics system designed to the latest FAA/JAA requirements and a new Pratt & Whitney Canada PW210 engine.

The extensive product upgrades ensure a bright future for the S-76,
one that builds on its strong legacy and holds true to its mission to fly
anywhere and perform any mission at anytime.

The new S-76D helicopter will

feature dynamic styling and system
enhancements that will redefine the
intermediate market segment.

Flight Testing of S-92 High Altitude Take off and Landing Certification
Since last year we have been keeping you up to date on the
progress of the S-92 envelope expansion program. Most recently
we have entered the test phase towards achieving certification
for take-off and landing at higher altitudes. In July, the S-92
team began conducting high altitude testing in the mountains
of California to certify the S-92 for Category A and B operations
up to 11,000 feet density altitude. These tests are begin
conducted using S-92 development aircraft 920003, which is the
fully instrumented performance and handling qualities aircraft.

Flight testing is expected to be completed by the end

of August. Revised performance data reflecting the
increased altitude limits will be documented in Part 1
of the S-92 RFM which is to be released later this year.

FROM THE FIELD

Flight Hours for Sikorsky’s S-92 Fleet are Racking Up

S-92 Fleet
To date fourteen S-92s have been built and the active
fleet has accumulated over 3,500 hours in customer
operations. Delivery of the first production S-92 occurred
in October 2004. Currently there are orders for more
than 60 S-92 variants from a variety of military, executive
transport, offshore oil and other civil customers worldwide.

The S-92 has an excellent safety record, while

providing the best combination of operating costs and
performance in its weight class.

Helivan Deliveries Herald S-76 Mexican Resurgence

The resurgence of the Sikorsky S-76 in Mexico continues
with the delivery of two new S-76C+ aircraft to Helivan with
two more scheduled for delivery slated for later this year.

Helivan is using the new S-76C+ helicopters for off-shore oil and
executive transport operations. The new helicopters join the two
S-76A models Helivan placed in service in 2004 that are currently
performing executive, offshore and medevac missions. “Helivan
is one of the fastest growing aviation companies in Mexico and
we are excited they have added the S-76C+ to their fleet,” said
Sikorsky regional sales executive Ricardo Perez. “We continue
to see strong interest in the S-76 in Mexico and all across Latin
America. Offshore, commercial, executive and medevac operators
appreciate the aircraft’s versatility and proven performance.”

Helivan will be operating their four new S-76C+ helicopters from

their base in Ciudad del Carmen, under contract to PEMEX.

RECENT EVENTS

Rapid Response Team Quick to Deal with Forces of Nature

Sikorsky’s S-92 Rapid Response Team (RRT) was recently called into action when a bolt of lightning struck one of
Petroleum Helicopters, Inc. (PHI) newest S-92s parked at the Morgan City, Louisiana heliport. The S-92 is certified
to the latest FAA requirements including the capability to withstand a lightning strike. However, careful inspection
of the struck helicopter is required to assess any resulting damage prior to the helicopter returning to flight status.

Upon notification of the event, the RRT was quickly assembled and de-briefed on the situation. For this situation, the RRT consisted
of the Field Service Representative (FSR) who was assigned to PHI since the first S-92 was delivered last year, and Sikorsky’s
expert in lightning protection. Within hours the facts on the situation became known, and both RRT members were en-route to
the PHI facility. Upon arrival, detailed information began to be sent back to the S-92 team based at Sikorsky’s main campus
in Stratford, Connecticut. There the S-92 system experts reviewed the photos and prepared a comprehensive inspection plan.

The severity of the lightning was evidenced by pieces

of the heliport surface that had been exploded by
the strike. Evidence of the strike was also seen
on several of the S-92 parts including one tail rotor
blade. Since an actual lightning strike on an S-92 had
never before occurred, only an on site inspection was
appropriate to return the helicopter to flight status.

Within two days after the notice of the strike, the

inspection was completed and replacement parts
were being expedited to PHI. Within 24 hours the
parts arrived at PHI and the process of restoring the
helicopter to flight status was in full swing. By the next
day system checks and ground runs were performed.

Due to the quick and timely response of the S-92

RRT, within five days of the lightning strike PHI’s
new S-92 was ready for its first revenue flight. Another
true testimony of Sikorsky’s commitment to providing
exceptional customer service to its customers.

David Maor, Sikorsky’s Field Service Representative

for PHI was instrumental in returning PHI’s
S-92 to flight status after being struck by lightning.

The quick response by the Rapid Response Team is a

true testimony to Sikorsky’s commitment to customer support.
