Many schools these days have problems with poor student behaviour.

Why
do you think these problems occur? What could be done to tackle these
problems?

In the present generation, student behaviour has tremendously

changed over time. A great number of school institutions reported this poor
student interaction among their teachers and peers which becomes a
primary concern. Because it does not just affect their studies but their
growth as an individual as well. In this essay, I will tackle the contributing
factors for the bad behaviour and will suggest solutions for the said issue.
One root cause why students have poor interrelationship skills arose
from the family. What I mean by this is that there might be a family problem
in their home for instance. And that issue may cause overwhelming
emotions to the person. As a result he may turn to violent behaviours in the
school which can risk the safety of his schoolmates and teachers. To
address this kind of activity the school guidance counselor should notify
and talk to the students parents or legal guardian about what is happening
and help them seek for counselling, otherwise any unresolved conflict
might turn to aggression or even worse.
The second problem can be traced in the influence of video games.
In this technological age, many youngsters are attracted to be part of the
group so that they can feel what everyone feels like in their age group.
However, those who tried to take part in the said community sometimes get
succumb into the pleasure it brings. What Im trying to say for example, the
students who plays DOTA or Death of the Ancients which is a widely
known videogame in the Philippines among students and other ages.
Playing too much make students enjoy the feeling it brings in winning battle
of the said game. But unknowingly they are already exhibiting some
behaviour in the videogame such as saying foul words or worse hitting their
peers. In order to stop this problem from hastening, Parental limitation
should take place. Discipline from the parents is indeed a very big help.
The amount of playing videogames must be controlled and supervised by

the parents. And their should be an agreed time as to how much is too
much. Parents should know how to involve their child in decision making
especially if it is about them. This promotes a healthy relationship.
Lastly, the peer pressure which is not new in the contributing factors
of poor student behaviour. It is very common among group of students.
Being bullied is very bothersome, One example is threatening someone to
produce a leakage for the exam to get a passing grade. That kind of
behaviour is very unhealthy for a student. To tackle this issue the school
officials should do something about it as urgent as possible otherwise a
great number of students might suffer poor self esteem.
To sum up, school institutions encounter different kinds of problem
which results in poor student behaviour. In my view, parents and school
authorities plays a major role in molding the students to become an asset
of the country and prevent them from issues that can harm their
individuality. And I believe that no challenge cannot be overcome if
everyone works altogether for the good.
