1. One Tuesday morning , Mr. A and Mr. B were accompanied by the


staff of the Public Attorneys Office entered the office to submit their
corresponding Applications for Probation. The latter left the former
and went back to their office upon seeing the staff of Parole and
Probation Office conducting a meeting. Ms. C, the Administrative
Aide IV was then documenting a case conference between her CPPO,
SPPO, Probationer Mr. D and his wife Mrs. E concerning a sensitive
issue on the case of the client.
Given so, Ms. C continued jotting down notes of the case conference
thereby making Mr. A and Mr. B wait until the case conference was
adjourned after an hour and half. Was Ms. Cs act proper? State
your rationale.
2. While sorting out office files, Ms. Z, the administrative aide of the
office was instructed by her superior to accompany him to his
clients residence for field investigation which was near Ms. Zs
barangay. Would Ms. Z succumb to her superiors instruction?

Mr. A, a showbiz personality was recently granted probation for


adultery and was transferred to the Parole and Probation Office to
which Ms. X was the administrative aide. Upon Mr. As initial
reporting to the office at lunch, Ms. X was star-stricken and took a
photo with the former for documentation purposes and posted it on
social media immediately. Was Ms. Xs act tenable? Why or why not?

4. Mr. A entered the office. Ms. B, the administrative aide, welcomed


him by greeting him and letting him sign in the Visitors Logbook.
Upon signing, Mr. A told the former that he was just accompanying
his brother who was applying for court clearance in the nearby RTC
and was curious on what is probation and who may avail of such.
During that time, Ms. A was alone in the office because her superiors
were attending a court hearing. What would Ms. A do?
5. At around 9 oclock in the morning, an unannounced city-wide power
outage ensued. Ms. Z, probationer came to the office seeking a
permit to travel to Baguio City to visit her sick grandmother. Ms. A
right there and then told Ms. Z to come back some other day since
the former cannot encode the said travel permit due to the power
outage. Was Ms. As act proper? Why or why not?

6. You are confronted by numerous file folders in the file cabinet. What
measures would you do to achieve an orderly filing system?
7. In this day and age, the use of computers and other electronic
devices have become indispensable in the speedy performance of
office functions. As an administrative aide, would it still be relevant
to gain proficiency in the use of typewriters and manual modes of
accomplishing office functions? Why so?
