Prior to Recordation
Certificate sheet signed and stamped by City Engineer and City Clerk
Make copy of signed final map for Engineering files (keep in designated location
to be held until recorded mylar is submitted and available on the Document
Imaging Program)
Final Map submitted to City Clerk for filing along with off-site easements and
dedications with a letter prepared by project coordinator for City Clerk's signature
with instructions for recording and certificates of rejection/acceptance attached to
each document for City Clerk's signature
Project coordinator is to obtain the Escrow Number from the title company and
reference in the letter of instruction
Return corrective grading bond (if any) to developer

After Recordation
30 days after notice is received from the City Clerk's office that the final map and
related documents have been sent to the title company the project manager shall
review the City Clerk's recording log to verify that the final map has been
recorded. If recording has not occurred, the project manager shall call the title
company and determine what the reason is for the delay and take necessary
action to ensure that the map is recorded in a timely fashion, or returned to the
City for Council action to rescind the previous approval, if necessary
60 days after notice is received from the City Clerk's office that the final map and
related documents have been sent to the title company, the project manager
shall confirm that the recorded mylar has been received and forwarded for City
