ABSTRACT

Squeeze cementing that conducted was aim to close perforation hole upon
X well and Y well at A field. The writer will analyze from injectivity test
result and calculate the cement slurry volume up to test the successful level of
squeeze cementing with squeeze job test.
Squeeze cementing process on X well and Y well used bradenhead
and running squeeze pumping method with low pressure technique, it expected
that was not exceeding the fracture pressure. After did the injectivity test, the
estimation of X well and Y well was obtained, each estimation of cement
slurry that went to formations was to close perforation hole by 4 bbl and 2 bbl.
Afterwards, analyzed the successful level of squeeze cementing by run a
examination with squeeze job test after waiting on cement by pumping the fluid
into drill pipe filled, then squeezed and waited for 15 minutes approximately and
observed if there was a pressure changes that could be seen on pressure gauge.
According to the pressure gauge measurement, the result of pressure on X well
was 600 psi and on Y well was 650 psi. There was no pressure changes during
15 minutes on pressure gauge for each well. Therefore, it can be concluded that
squeeze cementing was successfully close the perforation hole.
