No. 202/R&T/Rect.2/2016, dated; In the Notification Rc. No. 202/R&T/Rect.2/2016, dated 22.07.2016, it was stated that in Para- 10 (B) (a) (1) (i) the Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and ‘must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1* July, 2016 i.e., must have been born, not earlier than 2%! July, 1986 and not later than 1* July, 1998, Further, In the said Notification dated 22.07.2016, it was stated that in Para- 10 (B) (@) (1) (ii) in the case of all other above candidates, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1 July, 2016 ie,, must have been born not earlier than 2™4July, 1994 and not later than 1* July, 1998. ‘The Government Vide GO. Ms. No, 103 Home (Legal.ll) Department, dated 09.09.2016 have raised the maximum age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by (2) years for various categories for all direct recruitments done by State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh, for Police Department for which Notification were issued in the year 2016, In view of the above, the following amendment is given for the Notification issued in Re, No. 202/R&T/Rect.2/2016 dated 22-07-2016. AMENDMENT In the said Notification, against Para- 10 (B) (a) (1) (i) and (i) the following is substituted: Age Limit: a) General Rule 1) For the post code Nos. 21 and 22 only: () A person who is_a local to Andhra Pradesh State and also working in Andhra Pradesh Police Department as on the date of notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of two years and who is still continuing his service as Home Guard, must have attained Contd...the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1* July, 2016 ie., must have been born not earlier than 2! July, 1984 and not later than 1+ July, 1998, in the case of all other candidates, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 24 years as on 1" July, 2016 ie, must have been born not earlier than 2!
