FEE REFUND RULE

Refund is a process to return an amountto the candidate(s).Refund cases could be one

of the following types:
1. Multiple payments at the time of fee deposit
A candidate who makes more than one payments but confirmation for only one
paymentis generated in online admission portal. However, with the previous failed
attempts amount is deducted from the account of the candidate and credited in the
Bank account of the University but the confirmation in this respect is not generated due
to some technical error.
2. Admission Cancellation/withdrawal
A candidate may request to cancel/withdraw his/her admission once he/she has made
payment and admitted to a course/programme.
3. Partial Refund
In some cases a candidate might have paid higher fee (paid seat fee, affiliated college
fee, course migration etc.) initially (initial rounds) but in subsequent rounds of allotment
he/she is admitted to a seat with lower fee.

Refund Policy
In the event if the admitted student/candidate requests for withdrawal from the
programme before the last date for admission/fee deposition prescribed by the
University, irrespective of commencement of classes of the course as also
availability of candidates in the waitlist, the fee paid by the student may be
refunded after deduction of the processing charge of Rs.1000 only.
However, if the student withdraws from the course/programme after the last date
of admission, no fee shall be refunded.
Aforesaid guidelines are applicable on regular fee, special course fee and paid
seat fee component(s) uniformly.
In case of refund of additional charges realized by the International Centre from
Foreign nationals, the referred to additional chargeswould not be refunded.
In case of multiple payments made by the student atthe time of fee deposition is
received by the University , the excess amount in full shall be refunded.
Any excess amount if any will be refunded, due to migration from paid to regular
fee seat, from one course to other or as the case may be.

Procedure for claiming Refund:

1. The candidate who is claiming refund is required to fill up and submit Claim-form
online. The Claim-form would be made available on the Students' portal by
31.07.2016.
2. After successfully submitting the Claim-form online, the student shall be required
to take its print, affix his/her signature (as done on the admit-card) at the
designated place and submit it to the concerned Dean of theFaculty (in case of
UG courses)/Head of the Department(in case of PG courses) /Principal of
College where he/she is admitted by hand/registered post by 15.09.2016.
3. All the refund related issues shall be settled by 30th November 2016.
