FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPMENT CREDIT BANK ,
Warangal.
The financial statement analysis is an attempt to determine the significance and
meaning of the financial statement data so that forecast may be made of the future
earnings, ability to pay interest and debt maturities (both current and long term) and
profitability of a sound dividend policy.
NEED & IMPORTANCE OF THE STUDY:

Overall financial analysis is used as the parameter for the many institutions to
evaluate the operating and financial performance of the institution. Irrespective of the
nature and size of the firm, this comparative financial statements and ratios are used as
standards in setting the financial objectives and evaluating the past performance of the
institution.

Conclusion

The income growth rate of bank is satisfactory.

Cash and balance with RBI of the bank is satisfactory but there is a need to
improve the cash and balance of the bank to improve its liquidity position.

From the study it has concluded that the interest paid on deposit is decreased.
This shows the increase in deposits.

Suggestions

The bank has to launch new deposit schemes to attract the depositors

Incentives may be offered to the staff for the mobilization of deposits and also
fix certain targets every year for deposits mobilization
