asdiscussedwithyouatthetimeofhiringyou.Wehave3hourshiftsworking24/7duringthesetimes:
12am3am,3am6am,6am9am,9am12pm(day),12pm3pm,3pm6pm,6pm9pm,9pm12am(night).

Q.Isthereaweeklyoff?
A.Theassignmentsthatarefor7daysaweekdonothaveanyweeklyoff.Anydaywhenyourequirealeave
canbediscussedandarrangedwithourShiftScheduleManager.However,wewillnotbeabletoprovide
weeklyoffforassignmentsthatclearlystate7daysworking.Candidatesinterestedinworkingonly5daysor6
daysaweekshouldnotjoin7daysaweekassignments.

Q.Whatisthepayment?
A.WemakeamonthlypaymentofRs4000aftertaxes(Rs4444beforeTDS)onaperhourworkedbasisfor
general,nontechnicalassignments.Ifyouworkmorehours,yougetpaidproportionatelymore.Ifyouwork
lesshours,yourpaymentisproportionatelyless.Thispaymentisfor3hours,7daysaweekwork.Ina30day
month,youneedtowork90hours,andina31daymonthyouneedtowork93hours.Formorehours
worked,thepaymentisproportionatelyhigher,andforlesserhours,itisproportionatelylesser.
Paymentinotherlanguagesdependontheassignment.However,themonthlypaymentrangesfromRs5000
toRs6000aftertaxes(Rs5555toRs6666beforeTDS),withotherpaymenttermsasstatedabove.

Q.Howdoyoupay?
A.Wemakeamonthlybanktransferofthepaymentbythe10thofnextmonth.Weonlymakepaymentinthe
nameoftheindividualworkingforus.

Q.Idonothaveabankaccount,whatdoIdo?
A.Onceyoujoinandcompletethetraining,youcanopenabankaccountbeforethenextpaymentisdueand

giveusthebankdetailsforyourbanktransfer.

Q.HowdoIknowyouwillpaymeforthework?
A.Wearea7yearoldcompanythatisspecializinginworkfromhomejobsinIndiaandAbroad,withover500
freelancersworkingforus.Theteamyouarejoiningwasformedover6yearsagoinMay2006andconsists
completelyofworkfromhomeprofessionals,totallingovera100individuals.

Q.DoIhavetosignacontract?
A.Youdonothavetosignanyworkcontractwithus.However,ifyouleavewithinamonthofjoining(afterthe
trainingiscompleted),wedonotpayanythingascompanyisbearingthecostofyourtraining.Afteramonth
ofworking,ifyouwishtoleavetheassignmentyoucanalwaysinformusandgiveustimetohireandtrain
yourreplacement.Ifyouwishtoleaveimmediately,wepayonly50%oftheduepaymentamount.

Q.WhendoIgetpaidafterjoining?
A.Onceyoucompleteyourtrainingandbeginworkingwithlivecustomers,youbegintogetpaid.Webegin
yourlivecustomersupportingduringOnJobTraining.Wedonotpayfortrainingbeforebeginninglive
customersupport.Thus,werequestyoutocomplywiththeTeamManagersandTrainersincompletingyour
skillstrainingattheearliestandbeginOnJobTraining.ThedetailsofthetrainingaregivenintheWelcome
Packyouwillreceiveafterjoiningus.

Q.HowdoIcompletethehiringprocesswithyou?
A.Afteryourinterviewroundsarecompleted,wesendyouaconfirmationemailconfirmingyourworktimings,
paymentsandotherdetailsinbrief.Youneedtosendanacceptanceresponseemailattheearliest.Afterthat
youwillbesentalistofdocumentstosubmitandoncethosearereceivedyourhiringfortheassignmentis
complete.

Q.WhatdocumentsdoIhavetosendyouforthehiringtobecompleted?
A.Youneedtosignandsendaconfidentialityagreement,apassportsizelatestphotograph,residence
addressproof,photoidProofandreferences.Youdonothavetosignanycontract.Thedetailsofthese
documentswillbeemailedtoyou,onceyoureachthatphaseofrecruitment.

Q.WillIbeanemployeeofVMG?
A.VMGworkfromhometeamconsistsoffreelanceprofessionals.Wedonotpayanyfixedsalaryorhireany
employees.Youdonotneedtohaveanyworkexperiencetojoinourworkfromhometeam.Thereisno
discriminationonthebasisofgender,age,educationorworkexperience.Youonlyneedtomatchtheskills
eligibilityoftheassignmentyouarejoining.

A.Incentivesandbonusesdependontheassignmentyouarehiredfor.Noteveryassignmenthasincentives.

Q.Arethereanypromotions?
A.Promotions,frombasicagentleveltoanyotheradministrativelevelposition,dependonvariousfactorslike
workquality,regularity,flexibility,timeavailabilityandteamwork.Wepromoteonlyonperformancebased

analysisoftheagent,notonthedurationofworkingontheassignment.Duetothis,a3montholdagentcan
alsogetpromotedtothenextavailableadminpost,whilea3yearoldworkermaycontinueasanagentonly,
alldependingonvariousperformanceparameters.Youneedtohavetherightcombinationofperformance
andpersonality.Also,promotionsdependontheavailabilityofhigherlevelpostsintheassignment.

Q.HowdoIknowIhavebeenofferedthebestassignmenttoworkfor?

assignments.Theevaluationcontinuesduringtrainingandworkingontheassignment.Wekeepsuggesting

Q.WhatisTDSandwhyisittakenfrommypayment?
A.TDSisTaxDeductionatSource.AspertheGovernmentofIndiarules,wehavetodeduct10%taxfrom
thepaymentoffreelanceprofessionalsanddeposititwiththeIncomeTaxDepartmentofIndia.Wegiveyoua
TDScertificatewhichcanbeusedtogetaTDSrefundfromtheIncomeTaxDepartmentofIndiaincaseyour
annualearningisbelowtaxablelimit.YoucanalsousetheTDScertificateforyourincometaxaccounting.To
beeligibleforTDSrefundfromIncomeTaxDepartmentofIndia,youneedtogiveusyourPAN(Permanent
AccountNumber)allottedtoyoubytheITDepartment.IfyoudonothaveanyPAN,youcaneasilyapplyfor
oneandreceiveitinaboutamonthstimefromtheITDepartment(foronlinePANapplication

ItisnotnecessarytohavePANtoworkwithVMG,however,asperthetaxlawsofIndiathereis20%TDSfor
