and relatively well-paid job. With the economic pie continues to grow domestically and
internationally, a good accountant can always find a proper job.
Im working now. Im a software engineer working in Lenovo, a domestic large scale IT company.
Its my fifth year working here and I think Ill keep doing it for years.
Months ago, I kept the typically normal after-work life. went to the supermarket for grocery
shopping, then went back home to cook dinner, then surfed the internet for killing time till
sleeping. However, one day, I decided to make my life after work more productive and enriched.
Currently, I hit the gym regularly, read books and even go to art galleries now and then.
3. Hometown
/
I grew up in Hangzhou, which is a really stunning part of South China. Its the capital as well as
the biggest city in Zhejiang province. Both the local and immigrants love the city for its ancient
history, the fabulous west lake, cultural heritages and also the booming economy. Hangzhou is
the place closely tied to my youth and growing up. I love it despite the fact that its getting more
congested and polluted.
In recent years, my hometown has changed dramatically. The changes include both positive and
negative ones. Talking about the good aspects, there are more skyscrapers making the city look
modern and appealing; from the perspective of life quality, the local government has upgraded
the welfare system so that citizens can live better and easier in a more competitive society. As for
the bad trends, the air pollution is ruining the city and the traffic is getting worse.
The young
I believe the young love to live in a city with plenty to do. My hometown is definitely a good
choice. There are more job opportunists. The jobs pay better. Rent and property is cheaper.
1. Developed/developing city with booming economy
Abundant job opportunities
Job-hunting is relatively easier
2. A plenty of places for entertainment(pub, cinema, theater, amusement park)
3. A multi-culture city with people of different backgrounds
Sharpen the mind
Broaden the horizons
Enrich the knowledge

4. Home
My parents and I live in a three bed flat on the 11th floor of a high-rise building, which is housed
in the city center/the outskirt of the city/the downtown/Haidian district.. Our community is
near a big city park with thriving greenery and abundant water, so living there is enjoyable and
relaxing.
My favorite room is the living room that is well-lighted due to the French window facing the
south. Ive made the living room a mini cinema for equipping with a stereo, a big flat screen TV
and a comfy sofa. So the weekends always turn out to be family movie time!
I think Ill do three things. Firstly, repaint the wall from the current white to pink and replace the
wardrobe to be a bigger one. Secondly, Ill add things including a wool carpet and a set of my
favorite stereo. The last plan is to break the wall between the balcony and my bedroom to
enlarge the space and let more sunshine pour into the room.
5. Weather
Sunny day
I love sunny days, especially in spring or autumn. These days are shining and gorgeous/bright and
cheerful. When it comes to this time, Id like to lie in the sleeping chair in the balcony enjoying
the sunshine pouring into from the French window. Besides, its also ideal weather for outdoor
activities like hiking and mountain climbing.
Sure Ive been to many places boasting sunshine including Ximen, Sanya, Qingdao and Dalian.
Nearly all of them are coastal cities. However, the most unforgettable memory should be the
travel in Tibet, which is so close to the sky that you feel you could touch the sun!
When I go out in summer, Ill always put on/take the suntan lotion or an umbrella, at least, Ill
wear a hat in case of being burnt. Besides, strong sunshine will probably make me allergic, and
the skin will be scratchy/itchy and uncomfortable.
Rainy day
Actually, I dislike cloudy and rainy days, because my mood is easily affected by the weather and
liuweiEnglish
to me, overcast weather is depression in the sky. The atmosphere is also stale and heavy, so I get
very sluggish and downtrodden/depressed when it's cloudy.
It depends on how heavy the rain is. In drizzling days, people even dont need to carry an
umbrella. But when it comes to pouring rain or storms, it will stop all outdoor activities and
transportations, and this will make life inconvenient.
Generally, Chinas eastern coastal cities have the most rain, especially in summer. The frequent
typhoon will bring lots of rain there. To the contrast, western China has always been suffering
from drought. These regions have the least rain.
6. Season
My favorite season is summer. Summer in my hometown is quite hot, rainy and humid. However,
summer is the best season for outdoor activities and star watching at the night. When it comes to
summer, the world becomes more vibrant and full of colors. The days grow longer and night
shorter. I have a tendency to wake up earlier and enhance the productivity of study or work.
Besides, Im extremely into the feeling of wearing minimal clothing.
Spring is always the most pleasant season with proper temperature, breeze and comfy air
humidity. Summer becomes rainy. Sometimes it has pouring rain several times during a year.
Autumn is warm but often windy. Winter is a suffering season now, since the air pressure is often
low. It makes the spread of smog and haze slower.
I often climb the mountain in spring, go camping in summer, ride the bike to villages in autumn
and go skiing in winter.
Id prefer to live in a place with distinct four seasons. With the changes of seasons, the
surrounding environments and relevant stuff also change. So I can try different activities and
experience a richer and more fascinating life. Additionally, I can also purchase more clothing
fitting different temperatures. This is definitely a source of fun to me.
7. Friend
-
Sometimes I have sleepovers with friends on weekends. Otherwise at most 5 hours per week Im
guessing. Frankly, Im not really sure.
10
liuweiEnglish
Fortunately, I have many topics in common with my friends. When we get together, we just talk
about make-ups, appearance, new-arrival stuff in the malls. Sometimes, we gossip about the boy
one of us might have a crush on. With close friends, we share everything, just chat and giggle.
What do you like to do with friends?
We could do numerous of foolish things. Such as going out of town and enjoying outdated and
picturesque movies. However, we greatly revel in taking a dip in the beach. This is a peerless way
to luxuriate in the serenity and tranquility of nature.
Whats the difference between ordinary friends and special friends
Both of them have noteworthiness into my life. Ordinary friends can be anybody, like your
colleagues, relatives or neighbors. On the other hand, special friends will cry with you, chuckle
with you and are brutally honest with you.
Which do you prefer, several good friends or many ordinary friends?
Id prefer several good friends. They may be sarcastic however I admire their authenticity.
8. Clothing
Mostly, I wear casual clothes and sportswear. They should be made of cotton and elastic fiber, so
they can be comfy and breathable. As for the style, I prefer loose ones instead of being too tight.
When I buy clothes, I like to choose the ordinary style without too many trendy elements,
because any chic thing will be out of date one day.
My favorite clothes brand is Nike, an American sportswear and shoes brand. Im often moved and
inspired by its TV advertising. It has clear brand core value that is to motivate people do exercise
and love running.
Sure. Colors are decisive elements when purchasing clothes and accessories. If the color is not
right, no matter how suitable the style is, Ill not buy it.
9. Shoe
,,,
Do you prefer comfortable or fashionable shoes?
Id fancy wearing comfy shoes over fashionable ones if I have to make the choice between the
two.
As we know, the comfort of our feet can ensure us the full energy, stamina and easy mood. When
the shoes are not proper, we get exhausted and worn out soon. On the other hand, fashion is
inevitably changing and its a fad. Its arduous to keep up with it, so putting on relaxed shoes will
go a long way.
11
liuweiEnglish
Definitely, I bought almost every pair of my shoes online and I havent any unsatisfied experience
yet. Buying shoes online is rather efficient way for me and provides a number of options for my
shopping experience. Since online shopping is one of the economical ways for a busy individual
like me to save time. I adore its minimalism and refinement.
Which is your favorite pair of shoes?
My favorite shoes are the pair of sandals I bought last summer. They were fashionably-designed,
colorful, eye-catching and easy to take. The sandals were so soft that you could twist them in any
way, so packaging became unbelievably convenient when I headed for a seaside holiday.
10. Color
Black
Appearance of mystery
Suppression of desires
Cleverness
Personal security
Prestige
Conventional
Conservative
Symbolic reference like death
My favorite color is black, which is a controversial option. Many people connect black with
suppression of desires, symbolic reference like death or being conservative. However, black
stands for cleverness, personal security and prestige. For instance, when we have a formal
conversation with others, wearing in black will make you look more reliable and decent.
Frankly, no. When I was a kid, the color appealing to me most was orange looking bright and
gorgeous. But gradually I found orange became less attractive and black began to occupy my
world. I started choose dark colors when shopping. ..
You are practical, calm, hard-working and do not like to attract attention. Your home is your
refuge from the hectic world. You are cool, conservative, and reliable.
You work and play hard and are enthusiastic and adventurous.
You are generous, expansive, good-natured and extroverted.
You like people and new ideas, but you come across as agreeable rather than aggressive.
You can be very successful in business.
You are tender-hearted, romantic and refined. You are a good friend, upset by violence of any
12
liuweiEnglish
kind. You may be talented, but not overly ambitious. People respond to your warmth and charm,
but you don't expose your inner life to everyone. You can be contemplative and cautious.
It is the warmest and most energetic color. We associate it with love, valentines, danger, desire,
speed, strength, passion, violence and anger.
Red can raise blood pressure and make the heart beat faster.
Symbolizes celebration and luck.
Auspicious
12. Sleeping
As a typical night owl, I dont hit the hay till midnight nearly every weekday. When it comes to/as
for/In terms of the weekends, itll be even later. My friends said its a bad habit, but I found my
13
liuweiEnglish
mind is often clearer and response quicker in deep night. Because Im an engineer having to do
many innovative things.
I think Im a well-organized person. I hit the hay before 10 and get up at 7. Before sleeping, I have
one hour to read books or listen to music and then do some meditation for minutes. And the first
thing after getting up Ill do is jogging.
Many people recommend the popular ways like counting the sheep or listening to the light music
for a while. But neither of them worked on me. My way is to do some meditation or try the
self-hypnosis I learnt from a book. Just think about a beautiful scenery picture in mind and
gradually lose consciousness.
I really dont know how long an old person should sleep for. But from the experience of my
grandpa, around 6 hours seem to be enough for the elderly. They will feel uncomfortable if they
sleep or get up too late.
14
liuweiEnglish
Yes. I was a good helper when my parents were doing the housework. I peeled the potatoes and
cut them into small cubes with a kid-friendly knife when my mother was preparing a meal. I
helped my father water the plants in balcony and dusted the cupboards.
I dont think so. Household tasks are good for the family bond and physical health of family
members. They can also cultivate childrens sense of responsibility and ability of self-caring. If all
things are done by the machine, well definitely short of lots of fun in life.
14. Collection
Do you like to collect things? Why?
What do you usually collect?
Where do you get those collections?
What do you think of the habit of collecting things? Is it a good one?
Absolutely. I love collect a wide range of things including cups, calendars, postcards and fridge
magnets. Personally, the habit of doing collections shows ones passion and enthusiasm to life.
Besides, it indeed can give me the sense of fulfillment when make a whole list of collections
done.
Like I mentioned, I collect many things. However, the most appealing collections are fridge
magnets that I stick to my huge fridge. Fridge Magnets are mostly for decorative purposes and
also they are for putting things on your fridge like impressive pictures, postcards or shopping lists.
I think they are really widely available products. But approximate half of my magnets are from
those cities I traveled to. They were bought as souvenirs and also reminders of the time I spent in
a remote place. My first magnet was purchased at the airport of Singapore, and that was my first
time going abroad.
Source of fun and joy
Follow the plan and achieve it
Nurture an interesting habit and enrich the life
15. Reading
Sure. Reading is the most effective way for gaining knowledge, learning new skills and also
helping me calm down/cool down from the tight schedule. Sometimes, the warm atmosphere
given by reading is irresistible. I particularly love to relax with a warm cup of great tea, a dash of
15
liuweiEnglish
16. Music
Music is a way of expression. It's just like writing. I love music because I think lyrics speak to me.
You can tell exactly what a singer is thinking but more importantly what he or she is feeling. I
remember I couldnt keep crying when I listened to Adeles Someone like you for the first time,
as the melody and lyrics were just telling a story similar to mine.
I love all kinds of mainstream music styles. For instance, jazz, light rock, pop, hip-pop, rap,
American country music and even classical music. However, pop ranks top one as my favorite.
Musical instrument
Piano
Violin
Flute
Drum
Sax
Guitar
Chinese traditional musical instrument
Musical instrument? Oh, its a one of my dreams to play musical instrument like the violin or
piano. But its a pity I was born to be weak in sense of music and patience to learn a difficult thing.
Its embarrassing but I have to admit. However, Im planning to study playing the guitar, because
my girlfriend said its cool.
Inspire the art potential
Build up hard-working habit since learning a musical instrument is tough
Become more confident

17. TV program
I barely watch TV, now that I sit in front of my laptop every day. If there is any TV program that I
hate to miss, I will catch them online. My favorite TV types include sitcom, documentary, news,
cookery, drama, makeover, and travel or holiday. Among all of these, the sitcoms ranks top, since
there will be a joke every three sentences. The roles in sitcoms like Sheldon and Max are
extremely weird and hilarious.
Most popular TV programs in China include CCTV News, TV series. Dating programs and talent
shows also gained their popularity recent years. TV series reflecting social reality never go out of
time. The most popular TV series in 2013 was We Get Married, which tells a story about a 32
years old left-over woman and a 35-year-old man who is fear of marriage, about how they meet
and decide to get together.
Young people watch less TV than seniors do. Their viewing of TV is centered around their
interests and daily schedules, so weeknight viewing is high, particularly during late peak. This
group prefers comedies and general entertainment. Elderly people, on the other hand, have
more free time to spend on TV and their tastes also vary. They are less interested in
entertainment programs but more into news, health programs and operas.
18. Advertisement
Traditional modes of advertising
Print advertising
Newspapers magazine brochures fliers pamphlet
Billboards, kiosks, trade-shows and events
Radio advertising, TV advertising
Modern types of advertising
online advertising, covert, smart-phone, celebrity advertising
Personally, online advertisements are more convincing and receptive. We not only use the
internet to watch movies, listen to music, browse the web pages, and also watch commercials
and certain advertisements with utmost comfort directly from the personal computers. Its hard
to tell the reason, but I just feel the online adverts are more trustworthy, relevant and
life-enhancing.
Not really. I prefer the existence of TV commercials, since most of them today are with premium
imagination, innovation and catchy plots. Besides, many companies find celebrities as spokesmen
and spokeswomen for their brands or products. So I can see my favorite stars now and then when
17
liuweiEnglish
I watch TV. However, the frequency and repetition of commercials should be controlled and
reduced reasonably.
Sure. I bought a plenty of things due to their TV commercials promotion. It includes the shampoo,
juicer, cosmetics, biscuits and even spirits for my parents. No one can avoid being influenced by
advertising actually. Sometimes, we buy something for nothing.
It depends on whether they are creative and terse enough. Some billboards are well designed
and with catchy pictures. Window advertising are mostly attractive too. But some street
advertisements are simply brand slogans or discount informing. These adverts are no value to
me.
19. Museum
Sure. I love museums and often go to museums with different themes in spare time. As we have
known, museums can help us understand the history, the customs and the most representative
arts and crafts of a place. Even in the city we live, visiting a museum also means we can get rid of
the pressure from the tight schedule, the challenges from teachers or bosses, and to indulge in
the world of arts.
History museum
Military museum
Art gallery
Film museum
Wax museum
Sculpture museum
National museum
Planetarium
A diversity of theme museums
As far as I know, there are at least 60 museums of different themes of scales in my city. They
range fromto..
There is no doubt that a primary role of museums is to engage and educate the
visitors. Museum exhibits inspire interest in an area of study, item, time period, or an idea. In
some cities, schools rely heavily on museums to enhance their curriculum. Apparently, a museum
touring is always more exciting and vivid for school kids to learn knowledge. Theyll barely be
absent-minded or fall asleep when they see the exhibits in person.
18
liuweiEnglish
My favorite day is probably Saturday. Its the only day that I actually do not have to think about
anything but family time, leisure time, or me time. I try to get laundry, cleaning and chores done
throughout the week, so that Saturdays can be spent doing leisurely activities. Besides, now that
Im in school, Sunday just loses some of its appeal, since in the next day itll be a school day.
My favorite day is Thursday. It is almost the weekend, so I can rush and finish getting things
done for the weekend. I usually begin to do the weekend plan on Thursday evening. Despite the
fact that Thursday is the fourth day of working and Im often worn out and impatient by then,
when I realize after overcoming all the discomfort, the weekend is smiling at me. I can be
refreshed in a second!
Sure. I love all the time.
Tuesday is the day I dislike most, because we have the Physical Education class on that day. Its
suffering for me to finish all the tasks given by the teacher. I was born to be weak in flexibility and
coordination. Whats worse, I have terrible stamina. In PE class, Im always the clown making
others laugh. Tuesday is like a reminder making me aware of my shortcoming.
19
liuweiEnglish
I simply dislike Monday, because its the day with the most congested traffic, rush people in
offices, tons of tasks from the boss and tight schedule making me overwhelmed. When it comes
to Monday, I always feel its a like a start of another routine circulation in life. The weekend
happiness just slips away on Monday.
21. Relaxation
Lets move on to talk about relaxing.
Do you find it easy to relax?[Why /Why not? ]
Do you think that physical activity can help people to relax? [Why /Why not?]
Do you find holidays are the best way to relax? [Why /Why not]
Question: What is your favorite way to relax ?[Why ?]
Answer: I am a couch potato, hooked up with different types of programs, The News, Reality TV,
Situation Comedies (Sit-Coms), Talk Shows, Documentaries, Game Shows, Sports programs,
Movies. I go shopping, do exercises such as swimming or working out at a gym and play team
sport, such as football or basketball, to stay fit and healthy. Most often than not, Im buried in
book reading.
Question: Do you think that physical activity can help people to relax? [Why /Why not?]
To a certain extent, some of young people today use effectively their leisure time in productive
activities. I reckon its a good trend. Exercises can help people shape the body, reduce stress,
boost the immune system and also lift the mood. However, I believe the theory that more is less,
if we do too much physical activities stretching our body limits, itll pay back with negative
results.
Question: Do you find holidays are the best way to relax? [Why /Why not]
Answer: One way or the other, it can make me relax. Holidays are ideal time for traveling. The
changing of surrounding atmosphere and drifting of mind from tight schedules are no doubt
beneficial to my body and soul. Admittedly, Id delight in betaking oneself to Paris, the city of
lights. Ive read and heard so much about its history and culture that having that unique
opportunity would be the fulfillment of a lifes expectation.
To a certain degree I am fond of travelling, the Seine, the Eiffel tower, Montmartre, and the
Louvre, wide boulevards, romantic, exciting rainy evenings, lights reflected off narrow cobbled
streets and great wine and food. One visit is not enough and it must be with someone you loved
dearly.
22. Teacher
Yes. My favorite teacher at school is Mr. Zhang, the Physical Education teacher in high school. He
20
liuweiEnglish
is the person who helped me rebuilt confidence. Before I met him, I was bad in stamina and
flexibility, so I was like a clown laughed by other students in PE class. Mr. Zhang let me believe
practice makes perfect. With his help, I performed much better and began to be addicted to
exercises.
Im still in contact with Mr. Zhang by wechat. I can see his update of everyday life. When I come
across problems, I dont hesitate to turn to him. Of course, hes always warm-hearted and helpful.
There is an old saying in China going like this, a teacher for a day, a friend for a life. Mr. Zhang is
apparently this kind of teacher.
Sure, Id like to be a teacher if I could. There are few things more satisfying than passing the torch
to the next generation. Teachers help children overcome obstacles to progress by providing them
with the historical knowledge of past struggles and the methods used to combat them. They
encourage preparation for the workforce by linking factual knowledge to its practical application.
Finally, teachers work to produce a person with a lifelong devotion to acquiring and using
knowledge to make the world a better place.
23. Tree
Oak
Elm
Poplar
Willow
Palm
Pine
Coconut tree
Banyan
Talking about trees, I have a lot to say. In different regions of China, there are great diversity of
trees like the oak, elm, poplar, willow, palm, pine and banyan. In my hometown, a northern city,
the poplars enjoy great popularity. Its leaves give us shelter in summer. The wood is ideal fuel for
winter heating.
Coniferous
Evergreen
Deciduous
The biggest forest in China is a primeval forest called Daxinganling forest. Its located in the
northernmost place of China. Its a mixed forest with coniferous trees and deciduous trees like
poplars.
While the most famous forest in China is primeval tropical forest in Yunnan province. There is a
21
liuweiEnglish
range of rarely seen trees making people hardly believe their eyes. For example, there is an
ancient tree with a trunk needing 10 people to encircle. Its really amazing!
24. Sky
Do you like looking at the sky?
Do you like to look at the sky more during the day or the night?
Where is a good place to watch stars?
I used to be fascinated with looking at the sky at both daytime and night. Because years ago, the
sky was crystal clear and transparent. The air then was not smoggy, hazy or polluted at all.
However, looking at the sky is not that appealing to me today, since its rarely that blue.
Yes. Gazing into the sky is my greatest hobby. Its the best way to cool down the mind and inspire
infinite imagination. I often think the clouds to be various figures in mind, which is full of fun.
Personally, gazing at the beautiful site charges the imagination to boundless territories.
Telescope
Its a pain to drag out and set up.
Galaxy
Shooting stars
Its amazing to see stars in the sky at night! My father likes using a telescope, but I think its a pain
to drag out and set up. Just staring at the galaxy makes the whole world around quiet and
peaceful. I always have thought of buying a truck and fill it with pillows and a mattress in the back
and just drive to the middle of nowhere in the desert or wherever and just chill there with my
best friends looking at stars!!
Personally, the best place for looking at the sky is the grasslands. Once, I went to the Inner
Mongolia grassland and enjoyed a three-day trip there. When I was lying in the grass gazing into
the sky. I felt myself in a paradise. The sky was as blue as the sea in Maldives. The clouds floated
casually and quickly due to the wind in grasslands. Its so memorable!
25. Nature
,,,
Do you like the nature?
Absolutely, the nature has so much to offer and its the natural habitat of all living things. I am so
fond of the nature also because it is the most beautiful thing that surrounds us. It is what ties
people together, because no matter who you are, u can always appreciate the sunny days after

the storm.
How do people in your hometown protect the nature from being destroyed?
Saving our mother nature is a responsibility that everyone has to work on. Personally, I am an
ardent protector of our environment. I loathe people disregarding the significance of it. Moreover,
our community created the RRR Project which stands for Reuse Reduce and Recycle. This
project greatly influences people to take care of the environment and its resources.
What are main threats to nature today?
That is an interesting question. There are different contributing factors that decisively
minatory/threatening. Firstly, I would say the pollution which greatly brings terrible circumstance
to earth. Secondly, the climate change that leads to massive adjustment to all living things. Lastly,
the people, undeniably we have to put the blame to ourselves because we exist to nourish any
damaging elements that might be harmful to Mother Nature.
26. Concentration
The ability to focus the mind is one of the most important abilities one should possess. It helps
people to improve the ability to study and work more efficiently. As a matter of fact, most people
lack the ability to concentrate. Their attention usually wanders, without being able to fix it on one
subject for any reasonable period of time.
Im not satisfied with my concentration ability because I am easily distracted, especially when I
feel tired. Lack of concentration leads to low efficiency. So after a seemingly busy day, I always
wonder, what did I accomplish and where did the time go? To be honest, I have been thinking if I
should go through some concentration training.
I happened to read an article about mind training and Id like to share with you. Count the words
in any one paragraph in a book or newspaper, and then count again to make sure. When this
becomes easy after days of practice, try to count two paragraphs and later a whole page. The
trick is to count mentally without pointing finger at them. I think it is worth trying

Yes, I wear my watch every day for good looks and telling time. Generally, I prefer the old
fashioned or kind of vintage gear watch. This kind of watch can always compliment my outfits.
And the one I wear in recent time is a Swiss made Tissot.
Franklyno. It has been a long while since I wore a watch the last time. I dont think I need a
watch anymore as long as I take the mobile phone and the battery charger all the time.
No, not really. To the opposite, I hate lateness. Because I was dumped by my ex-girlfriend for
habitual lateness. Believe or not, I was even late for the dating when she was ready to tell me her
plan of breaking-up. Since then, Ive decided to always arrive 15 minutes early no matter what to
do. Now, my friends often describe me as a punctual person. Apparently, I feel quite
happy/satisfied with it.
Its extremely/critically/ultimately important. If you are late in an appointment or date, the
person waiting for you might probably get annoyed and impatient, and finally judge you as an
impolite person. And frequent/ habitual lateness shows/reveals your bad manners.
Being punctual does benefits to both how others see us and how we see ourselves. Firstly, being
punctual shows we are dependable. A person who can organize his time can also handle things
smoothly. Besides, being punctual shows our respect to others. On the other hand, to ourselves,
being punctual can increase the satisfaction of self-mastery, sense of confidence and control of
life.

29. Gift
,,,?
Do you like buying gifts online?
I preferred buying things online since most online sellers provide smooth transaction and their
products are seamless.Every Christmas, I usually give my loved ones greeting cards and assorted
gifts. I love giving them presents during holidays.
What gifts have you sent to others?
I bought a slideshow with pictures and music for my best friends birthday because I believe I
should get him something from the heart. Getting the usual things - clothes, jewelry, gift cards,
money and things like that were not very important. The more I value my best friend, the more I
want the gift to be an accurate reflection of the strength of my feelings towards him.
Whats your favorite received gift?
The best present I have ever received was tickets to my favorite singer's concert. My brother and
I tried desperately to get tickets the minute they were on sale but the computer system had a
glitch and we were unable to get any. This was pretty much the concert of a lifetime for the both
of us as we never get any really good entertainers where we live. Needless to say, we were very
disappointed. Luckily on the day of the concert, a friend of mine gave me the tickets for my
birthday, so we finally had an absolute blast and still have fond memories of it today.
Is it easy to pick gifts for others?
I reckon that its absolutely not a piece of cake to pick someones gifts. I always have no idea what
to give my significant other. I always have no idea what to give my significant other, but it doesn't
mean I dont know them well enough. Actually, its exactly the opposite. I cant pick a gift because
I am so anxious over finding the right one.
30. Handwriting
Yes. I write things by hand quite often. Handwriting is based on paper and pens that are always
available. Besides, handwriting is with great flexibility. I can underline, mark and draw anything
when its needed. Its suitable to all spontaneous ideas.
Honestly speaking, my handwriting is a little bit difficult for others to read, for I tend to speed up
when writing. And this often makes the characters look messy.

Drawbacks
Think about every time you have to look at the keyboard to find the right key. Or, maybe you
find yourself constantly making mistakes and having to go back and make corrections as you type.
Each time this happens, it breaks your focus and become distracted.
If you spend a significant amount of time at a desk, in front of a computer then you probably
know that sitting and typing can take a toll on your body. Achy shoulders, stiff neck and sore
wrists are some of the side effects of poor posture and bad computer habits.
