a Second
Chance
Treating to Release
When native birds have been
found injured, orphaned, or ill, the
community turns to Tri-State.
Our professional staff and volunteers
provide the best, if not only, chance
these animals have to return to
the wild.
Operating under state and federal
permits, our Wild Bird Clinic
admits nearly 3,000 patients every
year, most of them affected by
human activity. Half of these patients
will be young birds that will be
expertly raised and returned
to life in the wild.
Ready to Respond
Tri-States Oiled Wildlife Response
Team is on-call 24/7/365.
Founded to mitigate the effects of oil
on wildlife, Tri-State continues to lead
the way in oiled wildlife response,
training, and contingency planning.
Our highly trained team provides
professional and safe care to
compromised wildlife during an
incident of any size.
Weve responded to hundreds of
incidents locally and around the
world, including leading the Gulf of
Mexico response in 2010.
