A lawyer is a person who practices law, as a barrister, attorney, counselor or
solicitor or chartered legal executive.Working as a lawyer involves the practical
application of abstract legal theories and knowledge to solve specific individualized
problems, or to advance the interests of those who hire lawyers to perform legal
services .The role of the lawyer varies greatly across legal jurisdictions, and so it
can be treated here in only the most general terms. Legal secretaries work in law
offices and perform secretarial tasks that are specific to the law field: writing legal
documents, such as summonses, motions, etc., conducting research and reading
legal articles, and more, as well as standard secretarial duties, that might include
answering phones and email. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court
proceedings. Support attorneys in a legal office. Investigate the facts of cases and
ensure that all relevant information is considered. Identify appropriate laws, judicial
decisions, legal articles, and other materials for assigned cases. Legal
transcriptionists provide a service that enables the legal system to function more
smoothly and efficiently. One of the main functions of a legal transcriptionist is to
transfer audio recordings into written documents. Transcriptions are made from
court proceedings, dictated notes, recorded depositions, and many other sources of
legal record. The docket refers to the official calendar for federal, state, county and
municipal courts. Docket clerks are responsible for assembling cases by
contacting the parties involved and then scheduling them in the public-record
docket. The main task of a docket clerk is to help prepare the schedule for court
cases. This involves organizing the paperwork needed in order to bring the case to
trial, as well as contacting the attorneys, witnesses, and other people who are
participating in the case. Before a case, a docket clerk issues summonses to bring
witnesses into court and, afterwards, issues the judges' orders or rulings. courts,
attorneys, law firms .Aside from preparing and updating the docket, docket clerks
are responsible for preparing case files, reviewing files for accuracy, dispersing
information from the docket, monitoring and interpreting court rules, and other
tasks. However, docket clerks are not allowed to offer legal advice. A notary public
is considered a public officer appointed by a state government. The primary job
duty of a notary is to help prevent fraud by witnessing the signing of documents
and verifying their authenticity. However, beyond these universal job duties that
every notary public performs, some lesser-known duties are also performed by
notariesOne official duty of a notary public is to administer oaths and affirmations,
which are pledges on a person's honor stating that he is telling the truth and can be
held legally accountable for providing false information. Paralegals are
professionals trained to assist lawyers in various legal capacities. Paralegal duties
entail more responsibility than clerical tasks, and fall into a broad range of
substantive legal work. Paralegals conduct factual and legal research, draft legal
documents, work with clients, and manage cases.Paralegals conduct factual and
legal research, draft legal documents, work with clients, and manage cases. Law
firms, corporations and government offices rely on paralegals to create documents,
organize research and prepare for court. Paralegals are not allowed to represent
clients, sign documents or advise clients, but otherwise they perform many of the
same duties as an attorney. A liaison officer is in charge of working with different
people, organizations or agencies to help them accomplish a common goal. To do
this, the liaison officer must oversee communications, and coordinate efforts
between these different entities as well as the general public. Liaison officers can

work in both the private and public sectors, but most are employed by public safety
agencies. Liaison officers often provide technical or subject matter expertise of their
parent organization. Usually an organization embeds a liaison officer into another
organization to provide face-to-face coordination. A messenger is someone who
delivers messages. On a broader level, messengers work in varying environments
where they are required to transport packages, mail and other items from one place
to another. It may seem simple enough but the work of a messenger is difficult as
there is a huge amount of responsibility attached to it and a lot of travelling
involved. Messengers deliver documents and packages in a safe and confidential
manner.
