Introduction:
BookShop is a main thing in towns so people can reach the
information with the main reference. The book shop contain from
books for different majors and sections. At this semester weve
learned how the information system is useful for any organization, so
Dr.syed Naqvi has franchise a task to make a project with several
topics and weve choose the Bookshop because it information system
is very complicated and useful .
We did our task on the (Microsoft Access), by making tables with
including data in it for example (ID, DATA TYPE, DESCRIPTION).
Furthermore, heading to making some relationships with the tables

(ONE TO MANY), then making some queries by forming it and


choosing what to be searched.
Leading us to make a form in an appropriate way with a colorful tables
, after making a report for each table .

Main body:
First, we managed to make 6 tables containing:

1-Books Table :
It includes the name of the books and
the author name and the quality of
the books and the type of it and the
cost.

2-Customer Table.
This tables includes the name and
the last name of customers and
their numbers with the gender of
the customer with their emails to
contact them.

3-Customer order Table:


This table includes the books
name and the authors name,
with the supplier ID, and the
date of customer order.

4-Deliviring (shipping)
Table:
In this table includes the
shipment ID with the customer
ID, with item Number, Book ID, Employee ID.

5-Supllier Table.In this table it


includes the supplier ID, with the
name of the supplier with the
contact number of it and what he
supplies.

6 Stuff Table
In this table it includes the Stuff ID, with the name of the Stuff with
the contact number, age, his address and his salary.

Secondly: We managed to make Relationships for each table. We started


making primary key for each table, then we made a foreign key to make
the relation (One-To-Many), then we choose the tables and did the
relationship as it shows at the figure.

Thirdly: We managed to create 8 Queries which helped us to make the


searching engine easy.

1- In this query we searched for


the customers are above 45
and we found Halima and muath are above 45.

2- In this query we included in the criteria the book ID


and with Book name and the quantity of it and the
cost of the book total value of the order books,

3- In this query made a search engine for the customers ID you wish to
search for.

4- In this query the searching engine was


created for the Customer order by the
counting of order.

5- In this query we searched for the local


customers-gender and we found one females,
and two Males.

6- In this Query managed to calculate of the


total value of the books.

Fourthly: we created some forms for each table to show them in a


organized way with the information about each table.

1- As it shows in this Books form the organized way on how we used


the tabular table.

2- As you can see in this


form how the form is
organized in an
appropriate way so
anyone can search for
a specific customer can find his all details.

3- This form shows how


we show our order
number of the books
and it name with the
author name and the
supplier ID with the
date of order of the customers.

4- This form shows the


information about delivery
(shipping) like shipping ID,
customer ID, items
number, book ID and
employee ID.

5- In this form it shows


how the supplier ID and
Names, and the benefit
of it is once we add a
new supplier we can add
him easily.

6- This form shows the


information about Stuff
like Stuff ID, Age, Stuff
numbers and Address .

Fifthly: We created some reports to show the information of each table in


one way, but without editing the data. In forms it shows one by one but
the report shows them as whole.

There many research engines of


reports and we applied them in each table, as you can see what
it shows the (Column, tabular styles) in different tables, and
each style show the data in an organized way and easier way to
.recognize them

.we make it very easy and simple for anyone

.Final step on our project also has (friendly user interface)

This form is the main page of our project because it includes all
the information that we work on it in a buttons way which
allows us to show each query, form and report; and to make it
.easy for the user to reach the data by a press of button

Conclusion:
In conclusion, this reports talked about information
system and the benefits of creating a database system
using Microsoft access and how it presents information.

Limitations:
This database system was tested on windows 7 and on
Microsoft office 2010.
