day.
Reproductive Process: 1 to 2 times a year, live birth.
Common Ecosystems: Forest mountain terrains in
Asia. Breed and sleep in trees.
Reason for Endangerment: Loss of habitat.

Physical traits: red eyes, very colorful, slimy, coldblooded, & burrow into mud or change color to
regulate body temp.
Behavior: Jump a lot, & make a sound such as
"croaking".
Reproductive: Each mating season, frogs return to
their place of birth to mate. Male frogs attract
females by croaking and puffing out their throats.
Using their vocal cords, they create a unique mating
call.
Ecosystem: Any type of rainforests.
Endangered: They are not officially on the
endangered species list but are considered at risk
due to the rapid decline of their habitat in recent
years.

& move deeper in the water to regulate temperature.
Behaviors: Bottom feeders, & like to stay in small
location to live.
Reproductive: Before reproduction, the fish has to
become sexually mature, the water must reach a
certain temperature to 24 to 27 C. They spawn
between March and June.
Ecosystem: streams, rivers, canals, lakes and
reservoirs, where the water is turbid (cloudy) and the
currents are slow.
Reason for endangerment: They are not officially on
the endangered species list but are considered at risk
due to the rapid decline of their habitat in recent
years.

Physical traits: heart-shaped facial disc, stiff feathers,
orange-brown colour, long flat nose (beak), & They
use feathers to lock in heat for body temperature.
Behaviors: hunting their prey only in darkness, &
sharp beak and powerful talons allow it to kill its prey.
Reproductive: owls mate by using their cloacas. Once
they have mated, the female owl lays eggs in a nest
she has built specifically for that purpose.
Ecosystem: found in the Americas, Asia, Africa,
Europe and Australia. They live in a wide range of

habitats including plains, deserts, forests, cities and


farmland.
Endangred: Not endangered.
