The number one thing that people fail on in the
interview is how to transcode music and how to analyse
spectrals.
Read the whatinterview prep site for both. If you are
still confused about what you can and cant transcode

Analysing spectrals is easy. The cutoff point indicates
what bitrate the music actually is (If its a transcode
from a lower bitrate then it will have a lower cutoff than
it should normally have). If the cutoff is slightly fuzzy go
with whatever most looks like a horizontal cutoff point.

How do I get into Bibliotik (Bib)?

Bibliotik recruits from What.cd (PU, 6 months), PassThePopcorn (PU, 3 months), bB (elite, 3 months) or
BroadcasTheNet (Elite, 3 months).
Bibliotik requires an OverDrive library however there has been a change in their policy to allow a service similar
to Overdrive on all the sites named here. Animebyt.es has unofficial user invites (Elite, 8 months).
Keep in mind that its almost impossible to maintain a ratio on Bibliotik without a source of ebooks unless you
are seeding a lot of stuff and freeload hits. Why? Because uploading 100 items on site will make your required
ratio 0. (However uploads can be trumped if they are not retail which is why an elibrary is recommended).

How do I get into PassThePopcorn (PTP)?

PTP is currently recruiting from Animebyt.es PU (6 months, PU), Bibliotik (6 months, PU), What.cd (2 months,
unwarned, Elite) and bB (80 GB upload, 1.25 ratio, 5 torrents uploaded, 6 months)
There have been multiple reports of users messaging two recruiters because one is recruiter is taking forever to
give out invites (AHDs recruiter if I recall correctly). Do not do this, you will be banned.

How do I get into BroadcasTheNet (BTN)?

Invites can be bought by people of a higher userclass with a tonne of lumens or from auctions. Recruitment is
currently open in PTP PU (6 months). Please note that uploads on PTP have to be approved by staff so it might
take a month for your one upload to get approved. Egypt is banned.

They recruit from WCD (PU), Bibliotik (PU, 90 days) and Animebyt.es (PU, 3 months. Beware, anons have
reported that Yur1 takes forever to give out invites and will ban you if you contact more than one recruiter.)

As far as I am aware, they are not recruiting anywhere. bB also used to do reddit interviews if you have a 3
month old account and 300 comment karma but they're closed right now.
Making ratio on bB is easy, its just time requirements that are hard.

They are currently recruiting on Bibliotik (Elite and PU 150 wks+).
It is said that the HDB recruitment from PTP elite has been pulled, however one anon remembers that the
requirements are 750 GB seeding size, minimum 1TB download, minimum seeding time 1 month, account older
than 6 months but thinks that it could have also been 750 gb downloaded and 1 TB seeding size not certain.
Another anon states that both seeding size and minimum download should be 750 GB and this anon appears to
be more certain about the reqs.
Banned countries are China, Egypt, Israel, Latvia, Turkey, Vietnam. Previously, they are known to have recruited
at AHD.
For limited times they have been known to have invite threads on PTP, BTN, AHD, SDbits, CN, and various other
"well known" movie/TV trackers. If you want to get into HDB your best chance is to max out the userclasses on
those trackers. Any application offers or invite offers you see on forums are fake because HDB does not allow
users to give invites on other trackers.
