Microsoft Project 2010 Advanced

About this course:


This 2-day course is for advance users of Project 2010 who want to get maximum benefits from Project 2010 for planning
their projects. Overall, the objective of the course is to make participants refine their skills in Project 2010. Completion of
this course along with our Basic course meets the full requirements for MCTS Exam 70-178:TS: Microsoft Project 2010,
Managing Projects.
Course Overview:
This course builds on the concepts and skills taught in the Basic course. Students will learn how to work with templates,
create baseline plans, monitor and update projects, analyze project statistics, handle delays and resource conflicts, create
various reports, consolidate project files, share resources using resource pooling, and customize Project. Students will also
learn how to communicate project information by using Project Server 2010 and how to integrate Project data with other
Office applications.
Who Should Attend:
This course is intended for Project Managers, Project Schedulers, Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads and other people
responsible for managing projects. These individuals are involved in or responsible for scheduling, estimating, coordinating,
controlling, budgeting and staffing of projects and supporting other users of Microsoft Project 2010.
Prerequisites:
Students should also have a working knowledge of the following:

Basic project management concepts and terminology.
