towards the attainment of producing responsive and competitive graduates.

BWEST:BRIEF HISTORY
Boaters Wheel Educational System and Technology Inc. (BWEST) College, situated in the
extension of Gomez Street Brgy. 1 Lucena City, has embraced the mission of educating and trained students
to be competent anchored with the values contribute to national and international endeavors. By the year
2004, BWEST College was originated and leased a space near the Capitol of the city as a Training Center of
MARINA for Maritime Students and Officers. It was channeled to Lucban Quezon, year 2007 2009. From
then, ceased to operate to establish a building of their own.
From the time our campus reopened in 2012, teachers gravitated here to build a school that
welcomes challenge and crave innovation. Programs for Home Economics were created and registered in
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Hence, it became an assessment center
under TESDA. Subsequently, courses were offered under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)
and have been recognized. Two years after, Junior High School was tendered and recognized by the
Department of Education (DEPED). Decisions were made after input from our stakeholders which was
carefully gathered and consensus was reached. Afterwards, at 2016 Senior High School was set in action in
line for Home Economics under the Technical - Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track. School activities are
designed, driven and executed by students and teachers. The Leadership team was selected to work with a
motivated staff and lead change here. BWEST College made a firm move forward, yielding quality education
and producing responsive and globally competitive graduates.
