Responsible for creating purchase requisitions and place purchase orders for electronic
components. Responsibilities included negotiating price, resolving customer issues & interface
with customer& supplier addressing avl & lead time issues. Work with Finance to assure smooth
payment to suppliers. Work with Logistics to minimize freight costs. Resolve delivery issues with
suppliers, including flexing due to demand changes. IPO buyer for all commodity responsibilities

Responsible for Incoming Engineering Services area: Interfaced with suppliers and
engineering on rejected/faulted material; Solicit Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) for
discrepant material receipts. Generate purchase requisitions to accommodate the repair of factory
induced defects. Contact suppliers directly to expedite hardware receipts and insure that delivery
commitments are maintained. Monitor Supplier Corrective Action Responses (SCARs) for appropriate
root cause and corrective action inputs. Electronically adjusted in house material inventory;
generated and maintained control logs; created and processed Material Discrepancy Report
(MDR); Purchase Order research using electronic procurement system; expedited documents
and material with quality engineers and procurement agents; telephone correspondence,
excellent rapport with suppliers. Working knowledge of the Raytheon AIMS and WINS
operating systems.
