Human Resource
Credit Suisse,
If Credit Suisse requires a high-energy analyst with a no-excuses attitude and is up to
any task, then Im the person youre seeking. My qualifications and experience will
enable me to fulfill your expectations.
I worked as a Research Intern at EPFL, Switzerland for 10 weeks in MayJuly 2007. The
internship provided me an international exposure along with the opportunity of work with
the experts in the area of modeling and simulation. I was allotted a project which
involved extensive use of C++ and computational geometry. It was challenging and at
the same time very different. I learnt the nitty-gritty of C++ during the process.
I also had a stint as a Project Trainee at TRDDC a division of Tata Consultancy
Services, Pune during MayJuly 2006. My projects were related to mathematical
modeling, to provide cutting edge technological solutions to the client. It involved lots of
research and mathematical formulations.
Number crunching and developing softwares are my forte. I have taken course like
Econometric Analysis, Statistical Inference and Probability and Statistics to quench my
thirst in the field of analytics. And with courses like Computer Software and
Programming and Data Structure, I explored the domain of software engineering. I have
taken the onus to write full-fledged software as a part of my masters thesis.
With a GPA of 8.36/10, I am in the top 10% of my graduating class i.e. Dual Degree in
Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (2003 2008). I also get involved in various
extra curricular activities like playing cricket, basketball. I am also an avid movie buff and
critic. I also read a lot and like to write short poems.
I am conscientious in my personal and professional life. I take pride in myself and my
work, and derive considerable satisfaction from doing an assignment well. I cope well
with high-stress situations and can manage a variety of projects simultaneously. I am
confident that with my analytical skills, undergraduate experience and strong motivation
to excel I will be able to live up to the rigors of this position.
I am looking forward to making my contributions at Credit Suisse. I would welcome the
opportunity for a personal interview to further discuss my worthiness.
Sincerely,
Mohan Sushantam
