A Clear Verdict on Ysuf al-Qarw by ash-Shaykh al-Allmah Yaya bin Al al-ajr

The Questioner asks:

Is it permissible to work alongside and eat with al-Yahd and an-Narah
(the Jews and the Christians) and say that they are from those who believe
in Allh and the last day?1
The Answer2:
This speech is Bil (falsehood). For the Jews and the Christians are Kuffr
(disbelievers). Allh, the Mighty and Majestic, says:

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qurn and
Prophet Muammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the
Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikn (the polytheists) will
abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.3
And the Ahlul-Kitb (People of the Book) are the Jews and the Christians by
consensus.
And Allh, the Mighty and Majestic, says:

Those among the Children of Isrl who disbelieved were cursed by the
tongue of Dwd (David) and s (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). That was
because they disobeyed (Allh and the Messengers) and were ever
transgressing beyond bounds.4

And the Messenger said:

."
"
Let there be curse of Allh upon the Jews and the Christians for they have
taken the graves of their apostles as places of worship. (ishah
said that) The Prophet was warning (Muslims) of what those had done.5
And the Messenger said:





"

"
"Those are the people who, whenever a pious man dies amongst them, make a
place of worship at his grave and then they make those pictures in it. Those
are the worst creatures in the Sight of Allh."6
And Allh made clear their Ghulw (extremism):

"O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Exceed not the limits in
your religion (by believing in something) other than the truth, and do not
follow the vain desires of people who went astray in times gone by, and
who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the Right Path."7

Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allh is the Messiah [s (Jesus)],
son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah [s (Jesus)] said: "O Children of

Isrl! Worship Allh, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up
partners in worship with Allh, then Allh has forbidden Paradise for
him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the limn (polytheists and
wrongdoers) there are no helpers.8
And those who say, "Allh is the Messiah, son of Maryam", are the Christians.
Allh, the Mighty and Majestic, says:

Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allh is the third of the three (in
a Trinity)." But there is no ilh (god) (none who has the right to be
worshipped) but One Ilh (God -Allh). And if they cease not from what
they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among
them.9

And (both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are the children of Allh
and His loved ones." Say: "Why then does He punish you for your sins?"
Nay, you are but human beings, of those He has created10
(Allh) The Glorified said:

They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their
lords besides Allh (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or
unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allh), and
(they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they
(Jews and Christians) were commanded (in the Taurt (Torah) and the Injl

(Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilh (God - Allh) L ilha ill Huwa
(none has the right to be worshipped but He). Praise and glory be to Him,
(far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)."

They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish
Allh's Light (with which Muammad has been sent - Islamic Monotheism)
with their mouths, but Allh will not allow except that His Light should
be perfected even though the Kfirn (disbelievers) hate (it).11
All these evidences clarify that the Jews and the Christians are Kuffr. And do
not be deceived by the speech of al-Qarw that they are our brothers in the
religion, due to them being people of a religion revealed from the heavens.12
Al-Qarw is a Munfiq (hypocrite).
Al-Qarw says, If Allh were to descend from the heavens, he would not
achieve the numbers, (referring to) that which were achieved by that Kfir
who is in Israel.13
And he was condemned by the people of knowledge for this statement and that
it is kufr (disbelief).14
Al-Qarw says, We do not fight the Jews because they are Kuffr, rather we
fight them because they took over our land.15
We fight them because they took over our land!

Al-Qarw ; when the Pope, Pope of Vatican, the Christian, died, he prayed for
(Allhs) mercy for him and gave a lengthy argument on why should we not say,
May Allh have mercy on him (Pope). And he praises him saying that he has
good deeds and that he used to strive for the spreading of his religion.16
And this shows that he is pleased with Kufr and pleased with the spreading of
Kufr and Christianity.
And Allh says:

That is because they followed that which angered Allh, and hated that
which pleased Him. So He made their deeds fruitless.17
Al-Qarw calls to the unification of religions (Wadatul-Adyn) and to bring
closeness between religions. And he sits and mingles with the Christians and
the Jews often, rather majority of his sittings are with them. And he praises
them and he says, These are our friends.18
(Allh, Glorified Be He, says:)

You (O Muammad )will not find any people who believe in Allh and
the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allh and His
Messenger (Muammad ), even though they were their fathers, or their

Al-Qarw states in his book, Islam and the West, p.86, I have personally invited to this dialogue in

sons, or their brothers, or their kindred (people). For such He has written
Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with R (proofs, light and
true guidance) from Himself. And We will admit them to Gardens
(Paradise) under which rivers flow19
This is the affair of the believers, they do not befriend the Kuffr, for those who
befriend the Kuffr, for by Allh, if it were in the times of Imm Amad (bin
anbal), they would shout out (to proclaim publicly) their heresy and nifq
(hypocrisy), screaming aloud.
Al-Qarw gives the ruling for (the Muslim women in) France to remove the
Hijb and that it is permissible for the women to remove their Hijb.20 He makes
all (permissible) that which Allh made arm (forbidden) for us. He
befriends the Kuffr.
And with all this we do not know (why), he insinuates with his speech and if
condemned, and thereby humiliated and attacked by the people of knowledge
upon the speech, he says, I intended and I meant...
All the hypocrites used to act in this manner!

Had We willed, We could have shown them to you, and you should have
known them by their marks, but surely, you will know them by the tone
of their speech! And Allh knows all your deeds.21
And Allh has described the Munfiqn in a Srah completely.






When the hypocrites come to you (O Muammad ), they say: "We bear
witness that you are indeed the Messenger of Allh." Allh knows that
Srah Mujdilah 58:22

you are indeed His Messenger and Allh bears witness that the
hypocrites are liars indeed.

They have made their oaths a screen (for their hypocrisy). Thus they
hinder (men) from the Path of Allh. Verily, evil is what they used to do.22
And other than that from the clear evidences in clarifying this condition; there
is not a fitnah (trial) that befell Islam and the Muslims, except that he held the
worst position with the Muslims whilst maintaining a strong agreement with
the disbelievers.
This is the speech he keeps repeating and he says to them and you hear that
They are our brothers in Dn (religion). Bring me a word from him wherein
he calls them Christians. He says Messiah, just the Messiah or the people
of the religion of the Messiah. He does not address them as Kuffr and he has
not declared them to be Kuffr even once ever since he has appeared!
And he strives with great effort for rapprochement with the Rfiah23. To bring
close the (Ahlus-)Sunnah with the Rfiah.
And he strives with great effort to separate the religion (Dn) from the state
(Daulah) and this is the methodology of the freemasons24.
And he strives with great effort to change nations and all those who are
deceived by him.
Surah Munfiqn 63:1-2
The Rfiah are an extreme Shah group who hold the twelver doctrine and are Kuffr (disbelievers)
who accuse the mother of the believers ishah radiyAllhu anh, abuse the honour of the Prophet
allAllhualayhi wasallam, make takfr of many of the abah including Ab Bakr and Umar - may Allh
be pleased with them all -, and their Kufr (disbelief) is worse than that of the Jews and Christians as per

These are just a few points that are mentioned against him but the man has with
him numerous oppositions to the Qurn and Sunnah of the Messenger , and
ridiculement and mockery of legislated knowledge and beneficial knowledge
and its people, and lack of conforming to knowledge.25

1 Appendix I - Fatwa of Imm Muqbil

Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hd states in his book26,"On this day I was informed
by the brother, li al-Bakri that he heard some words of (al-Qaradawi) in a
cassette that he says that this Jew (i.e. the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu)
was victorious by 99% of votes and that even Allh cannot achieve this, even if
the people voted for Allh, He would not be able to acquire 99% of the votes.
These words are clear and manifest misguidance. If he wished to make a Jew
superior to Allh, free is He from imperfection, the Most High, then he is a
disbeliever (i.e. apostate). And if he intended that the Jews and Christians and
the Buddhists and the worshippers of the cow and chickens and others are
many in number yet they do not vote for Allh, then this is another matter.
However it is still clear misguidance (on al-Qaradawi's behalf).
For verily, our Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, is not in need of voting, for He,
free is He of all imperfection, is the One who says:


"Be!" and it is!27
He is the one who destroyed Fir'aun, and He destroyed Qrn, and He
destroyed many nations, from amongst those who exceeded beyond bounds
and who stood in the faces of the Prophets of Allh, the Mighty and Majestic. So
he aided the Prophets and gave them victory, in this life and the next.
Voting is only needed by the weak man, O Miskn (Miserable one)! Even the
elders of the tribes, one would observe from some of them at the time of
elections, he dries up his saliva flattering the people: Rejoice all with the
projects!
As for our Rabb, He is Al-Ghan (Free of all needs),

O mankind! It is you who stand in need of Allh, but Allh is Rich (Free of
all wants and needs), Worthy of all praise.28

If He wills, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation.

And that is not hard for Allh.29
You have disbelieved O Qarw or you have brought yourself near (to
disbelief)".
