SAINTS ALIVE
The Senior Adult Choir Festival is October 6-7 and I cant
be more excited. We have the largest number in 13 years to
attend. Do your best to attend every rehearsal between now
and the retreat so we can excel when we get there.

FELLOWSHIP CLUB
Our new Fellowship Club activities have begun. David and
Myra Williams are coming to be with us for our program on
Monday, October 3. Bring a covered dish, bring a friend,
and bring yourself to this great gathering of friends. Mark
your calendar.

CHILDRENS CHOIR MUSIC

Our elementary school aged choir will share a special song
in the beginning of Wednesdays Business Meeting. Come
support them as they share Awesome God. Its not too late
for your child/grandchild to join our large group of kids
who sing each week. Special thanks to leaders, Erin
Timmons and Samantha Elrod for teaching our kids about
worship and praise. The choir meets in the Choir Room
from 5:45 to 6:25 on Wednesdays. Please dont deny them
this blessing.

SPECIAL CALLED BUSINESS MEETING

We are currently considering the proposal by the Deacons
to become an incorporated entity. The final discussion and
vote will be held at our regularly scheduled Quarterly
Conference on Wednesday, September 28.

Trunk or Treat

October 26 7 pm
Please consider hosting a game or decorating a Trunk to participate in
our Trunk or Treat this year. We have several carnival games that you
can choose from, plus several options that the Children's Ministry is
willing to rent if you are interested. So, grab your Sunday School class,
Bible Study group, WMU group or several of your friends and sign up
together. Or go solo and simply decorate your trunk and pass out
candy. Options and creativity are endless! There is something for
every person in our church to do - whether it is sit and pass out candy
or become more involved and play games. Sign up with the form in
your Sunday School folder.
Remember, this is our opportunity to do something nice for our
community with the hope that we can build relationships with people
who need to hear about Jesus. Everyone is asked to help the children's
and preschool committee make this event a success.
Along with participation in our event, we also invite everyone to donate
candy. There will be a donation bin in front of the church office. We
ask for no candy that will melt (chocolate) and only candy that is
already individually wrapped.

Sunday School

2016-2017
We will be starting a rotation of teachers and parents. I am in need of
individuals to teach three month shifts in three of our children's classes.
If you are able to assist, please contact me as soon as possible!

Early & Extended Session

2016-2017
We are on the lookout for individuals and families that will join us as
we serve during our services. We need people for both Early and
Extended and age groups Babies-2s and 3s-5s. If you are willing to
serve, please let me know! My email and cell phone are below.

See You At The Pole is the morning of September

a community wide worship rally at Bainbridge

Make plans to be dropped off and picked up from
Church of God. This promises to be a great day.
