Flexible Expansion Joint


Features and Application:
Sizes 3 inch through 48 inch.
For Ductile Iron, steel, or PVC
pipelines.
Constructed of ASTM
65-45-12 Ductile Iron.
Up to 20 Deflection per ball.
Additional Expansion Sleeves
can be added for increased
expansion capacity.
Each unit tested to rated working
pressure prior to shipment.
Due to the design of the seals,
no periodic maintenance is required.
Flanged, Mechanical Joint,
or combination connections.

Mechanical joint end connections


conform to the dimensional
requirements of either ANSI/AWWA
C111/A21.11 or ANSI/AWWA
C153/A21.53 depending on size.
Flange outlets conform to the
dimensional requirements of
ANSI/AWWA C110/A21.10 (class 150)
with addition of an O-ring which is
provided to ensure a watertight seal.

unit. If installed in a vault, the
design must be such that movement
is not impeded.

FLEX - 900

Single Ball Joint


For protection against damaging bending movements
where protection against linear expansion is not required.
(Available in Sizes
3 - 48 inch)

EX - TEND 200

Expansion Joint
For protection against damage from linear expansion
and is fully self restrained. Can be used in buried applications.
(Sizes 4 - 36 inches)
EBAA also offers an array of small brass FLEX-TENDS, sizes 34 inch
up to 2 inch with NPT connections.
Force Balanced FLEX-TENDS are also available. Ask EBAA if this
product is applicable to your application.
