‘THE CITY OF NEW YORK CONFLICTS OF INTEREST BOARD Inthe Mater of 2 DISPOSITION JAMES SECRETO CCOIB Case No, 2015-4288 WHEREAS, the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board (the “Board”) commenced tan enforcement action pursuant to Section 2603(h\1) of Chapter 68 of the New York City (Charter (“Chapter 68") against James Secreto (“Respondent”), and WHEREAS, the Board and Respondent wish to resolve this matter on the following terms; ITIS HEREBY AGREED, by and between the parties, as follows 1. In fall satisfaction of the above-captioned matter, Respondent admits to the following: 18) Since November 7, 1979, I have been employed by the New York City Police Department ("NYPD"), most recently serving as Chief of Housing and, prior to that, as Patrol Boro Queens South Borough Commander. As such, at all times relevant to this matter, I have been a “public servant” within the meaning of ‘Chapter 6 ') In performing my official NYPD duties, I interacted with Queens Library and its President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Galante. ©) L accepted gifts in the form of meals, pid for by Thomas Galante on behalf of Queens Library, as follows: (1) On or about April 23,2012, at Wolfgang's Steakhouse in New York, New ‘York, ata cost of approximately $154 per person. (@) On of about December 10, 2012, at Chrsto's Steakhouse in Astoria, Queens, ata cost of approximately $151 per person.
