REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2013-404

AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE AUTHORITY GRANTED TO THE
CITY MAYOR AS EMBODIED IN REGULATION ORDINANCE NO.
2013-339, ON TRAFFIC EXPERIMENTATION OF THE ROUTE OF
OPERATIONS OF CITY LOOP PUBLIC UTILITY JEEPNEYS (PUJs),
UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2013

WHEREAS, the one ( 1) month traffic experimentation of the route of operation of City

WHEREAS, there is a need to extend the experimentation m order to finalize the

establishment of a new traffic scheme for city loop PUJ' s.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of
Iloilo, that:
Section 1. - The authority granted to the City Mayor as embodied m Regulation
Ordinance No. 2013-339 is hereby extended until December 31, 2013;
Section 2. - During the duration of the traffic experimentation, Regulation Ordinance No.
2003-325 is hereby temporarily suspended;
Section 31. - All other traffic rules and regulations such as trip-cutting, obstruction, no
parking, loading/unloading is designated areas, over-loading are still in effect;
Section 4. - The Transportation Management and Traffic Regulation Office (TMTRO) is
required to submit a report and recommendation to the Sangguniang Panlungsod at the end of
the period of experimentation.
Section 5. - This ordinance may be extended as the need requires, as determined by the
Sangguniang Panlungsod.
Section 6. -This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
