I N T R O D U C T I O N.
It is highly necessary to give an introduction to a Field Study
of ANDRO . In the discipline of geography the importance of
conducting a field - work at the outside class room is quite
necessary . Students are to be well equipped with practical works
besides doing only in the class room but they need to see the
particular area or region in order to get the facts and figures what
they have learnt and acquired knowledge from the class . The
general features of the geographical information of a particular
area or region is to be studied outside which they can be able to
identified and verified what actually seen and learnt as described
by the teachers. It is therefore, necessary to do the works of the
Field Study. In this light we can also able to describe the different
geographical features and the activities of the peoples of that
particular area or region by collecting data and information from
the area or region. For this purpose we are asked to conduct a
Field Study Tour to ANDRO as its has special aspects like
Geographical features, Historical aspects, Cultural and Heritage
aspects, and most importantly the emerging Tourist hotspot not
only in Manipur but also in the entire north east region of the

country. We have been guided by our respected Sir M.Budhamani

Singh, for conducting the Field Study to Andro by giving a
Quetioniare to collect the data and information . We are asked to
collect the Questioniare from about 100 Household. We have
done it by dividing 4 (four) Teams for collecting the same in
order to complete the assignment . We are able to do the
assignment in time.

After completing the survey work of collecting data and

information from the areas assigned to we had visited the
important places which are predominantly found from the earliest
time. In these places include the CULTURAL & HERITAGE SITE OF
ANDRO mostly known as the MUTUA BAHADUR MEUSEUM
dedicated and established by a person and named after him
(MUTUA BAHADUR) a famous curator, writer, numismatist and
anthropologist to keep the cultural heritage of Chakpa or Lois
community of Manipur. Besides this, another important place is
the PANAM NINGTHOU SACRED FIRE TEMPLE which has a long
historical account in Andro for keeping the SACRED FIRE
without putting off till to-day. The Sacred fire is still putting on
by burning inside the temple by the villager. In this aspect we give
some light in the subsequent chapter in the report later on.

It can be mentioned here another important aspect of Andro is

that in the present day of changing scenario of the life style of
the people this particular spot is emerging as a TOURIST SPOT
not only in the State of Manipur in the North- Eastern Region but
also in the National and International arena as Tourist centre. WE
will be highlighting in this regard in the report also. Mention may
be made another important tourist spot famous for its natural
beauty and charming is that of the SANTHEI NATURAL PARK
which has special scenic beauty and greenery natural view

throughout the Andro . It has been developed around a water

reservoir attracting both local and outside tourist personals.
Another important spot of tourist attraction is the
Chakpa Panam Garden which is developed and managed by a
local committee with its aims and objective to promote tourism
activity said by a person who is the In- charge of the Advisor of
the committee named Yumkhaibam Sajou Singh of the locality.
He pointed out that we are trying to promote tourism in this are
by making orchid farm to make it beautiful and to attract the
tourists.
Mention may be made of this small hamlet located towards
the east of Imphal about 26 kms having every natural charming
scenic beauty and comprising many different varieties of
traditional pots located at the Andro Gramsang Museum. The
details will be highlighting on the later stage of this report.
In this short visit , we have the experiences of somewhat
unique feature ranging from journey sight views of rolling slope
with full pine afforest along the hills side , greenery farms,
scattered houses at the hill slopes whereby natural plants are
associated with the areas. It is really a very attractive sight view
while travelling from through the hills and plain till the finale of
this small village as well as town.
One can neglect the what authentic Manipuri Village is the
Andro village and Nagar Panchayat town of this area where
located full of cultural heritage complex as an emerging
outstanding tourist centre not only in the state of Manipur but in
the entire national and international level also. We are very proud
of having such kind of wonderfull experience in this area for
undertaking a field study work organized and arranged by our
respected Sir M.Budhamani Singh, the In-Charge of Tour along
with other staff member of the Geography Department ,
M.B.College , on the 3rd May 2015.

We are very much grateful to Principal our college for giving

us the entire expenses sanctioned by the Government for this
specified work without which we will not be able to undertake
such kind of expensive work from our end. Therefore , at the end
of this introductory highlight we once again show our extreme
happiness and gratefulness to all.
Thanking you.

A SHORT HIGHLIGHT ON THE JOURNEY TO ANDRO

VILLAGE/TOWN.

After assembling at the college and after checking all other

Equipment to be used at the field survey we started our journey
to Andro at about 8.30 A.M. We all pray to the Lord Govindagee ,
He is at the nearby temple of our college. There was a Transport
Bus to travel with and proceeded towards the Kongba Road
passing though Kongba Bazar which at about a kilometer from
our college. By passing Wangkhei Leikai, Kongba Bazar,Bamon

Kampu, Irilbung Leikai, , Keirao Wngkhem, etc. We started to

cross the Ngarian Hill ranges whereon passes the Andro and
Yairipok towns. It is very attractive to see all the Hilly scenery at
both side of the road while passing through it. Another beauty
scene in our view is the pine trees growing at the slopes of the
hill and scatter houses along the hill slopes all along the hilly
road side. It is really quite attractive to us. We started our journey
to Andro after completing to cross the Ngarian hill road towards
east on the Andro road which almost on the rolling plane.
( captured pictures are attached to see the views)

Here we comes the views of the plain at both side of the

road. At fisrt meet we the scatter settlement of tiny hamlet of
Ngrian Muslim village at the left and northern side of the road.
Here farming field with small farm house can be seen. It is also
very nice to look at where agricultural activities are associated
with. It is said that most of the settlers are from muslim
community. After passing though it we comes the another small
village of very good settlement of small village name Andro
Khunou (Torongthel) which is at the part of the field of Louthrei
Loukon. Here also we can see the farming activities related to
agriculture, fish farming , etc. Most of the plepe are from Meitei
community from the main area of Andro.

After this we started to join the another small village known

as Huikap. It is about 18 kms ffrom mphal. Here , we find the
scatter settlement along the rolling foot hill slope with forested
trees and plants. It is also quite attractive to look at from the Bus
at the eastern side of the Nongmaiching Hill. At the northern side
there is a very extensive part of the Makha pat( Lake) It is said
that this is also a part of the Andro Assembly Constituency under

the jurisdiction of Tulihal Zilla Parishad and Antha Gram

Panchayat of Keirao Bitra, a sub- division of Imphal East District.

After passing through it we come to part of the Andro Village

and Town and started to see the small shops and Hotels of
different kinds wherein giving their items of availability. We can
also can see various kind of market sheds where small logs are
mostly available for cooking purposes and also other edible items
which use by common people.

Then we proceeded to the Main centre of village or Town

where Public Parking are install. Here we come the one of the
spacious parking where situated the SANTHEI NATURAL PART
which is a pretty lake not too far from Andro Village. Being
holiday, the area was extremely crowded as the park is a popular
picnic spot at Andro. Pine trees are specially shows the pretty
sight on the way to Andro.

We could reach here around 11.30 A.M. We managed to take

lunch at a friends house after that we started to collect our
Field work by dividing different groups as instructed by our
guide and it took several hours to complete the work. After this
we started to visit some of the important tourist centre, like
Panam Ningthou temple where Sacred Fire of Andro is still
preserve without extinction, the Santhei Natural Park where
picnic spots are concentrated with beautiful lake as reservoir by
constructing dam at the foot hill of Nongmaiching Hill and around
it surrounded by scenic pine trees with other hilly trees and plants
which make the Park a charming natural views to look at. Here
many tourists are attracted because of its popularity for
having picnic. This spot was so crowded being
holiday. We had

many photoghraphy snaps and captured different views of

natural ly beautiful.

After this we came to the Gramsang Museum of Andro a

where show cases a wide ranges of traditional pots and items like
lamps, vases, peggybanks.etc. Another venue of tourist interest
is the Mutua Bahadur Museum, a cultural complex where model
of different kind of houses of different tribes are kept preserved,
here which includes Meetei, Kuki, Tangkhul, Kabui, and Mao.

We will be highlighting detail statement in these above

mentioned facts and figure in the later stages of our field report .
It is worthy to mention here that a place like Andro is very
enchanting and one of the best place in Manipur in relation to
historical facts. It is becoming up to be a tourist place. There
ample tourism potential that can be utilized to improve the socioeconomic condition of the people in the region.

We are feeling very good after coming here. It is a

great area and we feel that more activities can be developed in
these areas because of its natural beauty and rich and diverse
culture. We are quite lucky to see such kind of natural beauty and
enchanting views of the region endowed with the gifts of natural
artifacts which did not expected before going here. It is really a
good geographical place one should not avoid to attend. We are
proud of our guide who actually took every initiative to conduct
such an important region to be surveyed. We are highly
engraved the value of geographical study to a place like Andro
where all important geographical features along with other
associated historical artifacts, different cultures of different tribes

of Manipur are seen here. The region remain a long way as an

important hotspot of tourist centre .

AN OUTLINE OF ANDRO VILLAGE/TOWN

Andro is small town and Nagar Panchayat located at the

foothill of Nongmaiching hill about 26 kms from Imphal city. It is
an assembly constituency of Imphal of Imphal East district of
Manipur State, India. It is small hamlet and ancient village
inhabited by one of the groups of the Loi communities of
Manipur which is believed that they are the earliest Settlers of
Manipur known as the CHAKPAS and are ardent followers of the
traditional religion and beliefs that prevailed before the onset of
Hinduism in Manipur. It is said that from the local folklore , they
had earlier settled in KANGLA ( the site which held the Palaces
of Meitei Kings) but were driven from there by Nongda Lairen
Pakhangba who ascended the throne as the first King of the
Ningthouja Clan who is now regarded as the first Manipuri King.
The CHAKPAS thus got scattered towards the foothills,
one group of which settled in the foothills of
NONGMAICHING HILLS which came then to be known
as ANDRO. They refused to merged with the Meitei
Community because of their to embrace Hinduism,
these groups became the LOIS COMMUNITIES of
Manipur which paid tribute to the Kings to enjoy his
protection. Some of the major Loi Communities are that
of Andro, Phayeng, Sekmai, Khurkhul, etc. which were
assimilated into the Meitei Communities subsequently
are classified under the Scheduled Caste list in Manipur.

Andro is on such community settled in a village in the

foothills of Nongmaiching Hill, which is the highest peak in
the vicinity which is , more or less separates the Thoubal
District of Manipur Valley from that of Iril river and the
Imphal river of the Imphal East District. The village is about
2,700ft. above Sea level. From the record available recorded
by E.W. Dun (in 1886) the village had 40 households with a
meager population of about 200 person. But in 1981, it
became the most populous village among the Scheduled
Caste villages with a total household of 917 and a total
population of 5,239. The density of population is by the time
was 652. Its present population is 8,744 (2011 census) . The
total geographical are of the village is about 2,994.53 Acres.
The annual rainfall is about 129 .23 cm. The soil of the
village is almost similar with that of Imphal valley of Manipur
ie. alluvial, clayey and loamy thick soil. The village is
bounded in the West by Sandangsengba Maring village, in
the East by Nongmaiching and Kadankot Khongjai, in the
North by Waiphei Khunjai and in the South by Uchou Village.
As such they are communities who first settled at the rolling
slopes and valley of Nongmaiching Hills where
geographically quite pleasant and viable to live in.
Geographically the climate is very salubrious and very
pleasant, agriculturally very fertile, economically very viable
to survive and facilities are available all along the hilly sides
and valley rolling plains to live in.

It is a aged old ancient village which has now turned into a

Nagar Panchayat or Small Town Notified by the Government of
Manipur having 12 ( Twelves) wards which are all in the Keira Bita
Sub- Division of Andro Assembly constituency of Imphal East
mDistrict of Manipur. The beauty of Andro lies in the manner in

which the community has preserved the way of life and beliefs
since the time immemorial. The most significant and important
practice of the community is that of preserving the SACRED FIRE
OF ANDRO .

It is said that the fire has been kept brning since it was
introduced to the people of Manipur by POIREITON, the king of
the KHUMAN CLAN which had migrated from the mainland of
Indian subcontinent around 1srt Century A.D. who is regarded to
have brought a turning point in the Manipuri civilization, turning
the nomadic hunters to a well organized agrarian community.
Subsequently it was NONGDA LAIREN PAKHANGBA who
ascended the throne as the First King Of Manipur after him.Till
today the sacred fire burns in the temple of PANAM NINGTHOU
TEMPLE, the governing diety of the village. Every two households
in the village is entrusted with responsibility of managing the fire
for one day, which is passed on to the next two houses the next
day and so on throughout the entire year until each household
would have borne the responsibility at least once in a year. In way
the villager are preserving the SACRED FIRE OF ANDRO in
the form of PANAM NINGTHOU TEMPLE OF ANDRO where the
sacred fire of Andro is preserving and maintaining.

POPULATION AND SETTLEMENT.

In the previous chapters it has been highlighted some of the

historical facts about the settlelment of Andro. It is said that they
were the earliest settlers of Manipur who are Known as the
Chakpas (Loi) communities of Manipur. They are ardent followers
of the traditional religion and beliefs that prevailed before the
onset of Hinduism in Manipur. It is said that (in the local folklore)

they had earlier settled in Kangla ( the site which held the
palaces of the Meitei Kings) but were driven from there by Nongda
Lairen Pakhangba who asended the throne as the first King of the
Ningthouja Clan who is now regarded as the first Manipuri King.
The chakpas thus got scattered towards the foothills, one group of
which settled in the foothills of the Nongmaiching Hills which
came to be known as Andro thereafter.

Not being merged the main stream Meitei community and

refusing to embrace Hinduism, these groups became the Loi
communities which paid tribute to the kings to enjoy his
protection. Some of the major Loi communities are that of Andro,
Phayeng, Sekmai, Khurkhul, etc. which were subsequently
assemlatd into the Meitei community and are now classified under
Sheduled Caste list. Andro is on such community settled in a
village in the foothills of Nongmaiching (Hill), the highest peak in
the vicinity which more or less separates the Thoubal District from
Imphal East District of Manipur.
There is a local version of their origin. It says that
CHAKPAS (Sekmai, Phayeng,Khurkhul, Andro, etc.) who became
the LOIS of the present day Scheduled caste of Manipur were
some of the earliest settlers of Manipur. The Lois of Phayeng,
Andro and sekmai believed that they did not come from
enywhere. They have been here since the creation of
Universe(Malem) and they are descendants of SORAREN(King
of the God) and descended directly from his heavenly abode. Here
the heavenly abode was the KOUBRU HILL TOP where used to
live. Here again entered as to go to the abode of Soraren is to
ascend the Koubru Hill.

The inhabitants of Chakpas Phayeng related that their

ancestor along with the ancestor of Andro who is the younger

brother of their ancestor once occupied KANGLA ( the site of the

palace of Meitei Kings before British Sovereignty ). Their ancestors
were driven from there by Nongda Lairen Pakhangba the first
King of Manipur recorded in history. Their claimed is supported by
a place named Chakpa Yenkoupung. The brothers decided to
leave the place after taking the meal and thus prepared their
meal. The elder brother, the Phayengs ancestor cooked Ngakha
( a variety of small fishes) and the younger brother cooked
Khajing (prawn). The Khajing became red when cooked. So,
the Andro ancestor believed that it was still having blood and as
such uneatable. The younger brother therefore asked his elder
brother to leave first as he wanted to wait until his Khajing
became eatable. So the older brother left first and asked the
younger brother to follow himwhich the younger brother tried out
but could not. He went back. So, some pundits believed that the
name Andro came from HANDRO and their settlement are came
to be known as ANDRO (In Manipuri language han means to
return, Andro refers to the younger brother who returned). The
Andro settlements are to the East of Imphal and the Phayengs
areto the West.

Andro is a Nagar Panchayat small town now in the district

of Imphal East District , Manipur and it is divided into 12 Wards
for which election are held every 5 years. It has a total population
of 8,744 of which 4,307 are males while 4,437 are females as per
report released by Census of India, 2011. It was total population
of 8,316 in the Census report of 2001 and notified as Nagar
Panchayat (NP) as Class- V Small Town area Council). Population
of children with age of 0-6 is 1,173 which is 13.41.% of the total
population of Andro (NP). In Andro Nagar Panchayat, female sex
ratio is of 1,030 against State Average of 992. Moreover chils sex
ratio in Andro is around 968 compared to Manipur State Average
of 936. Literacy rate of Andro town(NP) is 64.42% lower than the

State Average of 79.21%. In Andro, male literacy is around

68.36% while female literacy rate is 60.62%.
In Andro (NP) a total administrative households of 1,669 are
covered with the Small Town Committee which supplies basic
amenities like water and sewerage. It is also authorizes to build
roads and imposes taxes of properties coming under its
jurisdiction.

Caste Factors of Andro (NP) Schedule Caste constitute

87.28% of the total population while 0.62% are Schedule Tribe.
About 4,165 of the total population are engaged in work or
business activities while remaining are engaged in the agricultural
activities. Out of which 2,315 were males workers while 1,850
were females workers.( In census survey, worker is defined as
person who does business, job, service and cultivator and labour
activity). Of total 4,165 working population, 76.71% were
engaged in Main Work while 23.29% workers were engaged in
Marginal work.
Andro village is also a part of the Keirao Bitra Taluk having a
population of Andro(pt) 1,014 with a total households of 207 in
number according to 2011 census of India. Of these 506 are Males
and the remaining 508 are Females , outnumbering from males.
Transport

FacilIty:

The only main means of transportation is the Imphal- YaipokAndro Road which has a total length of 26 kilometers. The road is
double lane but not completely metal road which is needed to
broaden for better transportation. In view of the increasing
population and large attraction of tourists both local and outsiders
it is quite necessary to do so so as to enable the give ease to all.
In the village inter village road are connected with lanes of sand

and stone surface. This is another setback during the rainy season
with muddy surface. Overall transport facility is meagerly good.

Settlement:

Settlement type is not so compact and disperse. It is

medium type of compact patter around the market area but
longitudenial types are along the roadside where isolated
settlement of houses are scattered. There is hardly pucca
buildings are found but very few in number. Medical facility is
lagging behind as there only one Primary Health centre uses to
operate in the area, educational institution for higher study is
also almost nil. All the features are concentrated in the form of a
helmet structure in the region. The village has one Dispensary, a
Veterinary sub- centre, three High School, seven Junior High
Schools and forty-two Primary Schools

SocIoeconomIc

ActIvIty:

One of the most significant mode of life of the people are

very conservative in nature, hard working and articulate in the
pottery works and famous for making local brew for which they
observe the age old method of producing items. The people are
keeping their traditions for which they are outstanding. These
socio- economic and cultural activities are witnessed from the
various complexes stationed in the Andro village. The
preservation of Panam Ninghthou Temple where sacred fire is
still preserved without extinction, Gramsang Cultural complex
where preserved the aged old traditions of the Chakpas and
different tribal communities, Mutua Museum where different

artifacts are preserved and Natural loving relationship with

them from the organization of public resorts centre like the
Panam Garden and Santhei Natural Park which are attractive
tourist centres in Andro Village.

ANDRO
S P O T.

AS E M E R G I N G

TOURIST

Andro has a rich history of its own. It is an old village known

for making pottery and making of high quality local brew (local
wine) located at about 26 kms from the Imphal City,
geographically situated at the bases of sloping foothills of Named
Nongmaiching Hill of Imphal East District of Manipur, India. Nowa-days it is becoming popular tourist destination for city dwellers
both locals and outsiders because of its easy accessibility and the
natural attraction. The important centres of attraction of the
tourists are highlighted below:

CHAKPA PANAM NINGTHOU MEITHOUPIROL SHANGLEN

OR MEI MUTABA
(THE PANAM NINGTHOU TEMPLE)

It is an interesting place of destination in Andro where an

old traditional Hindu Temple is existed for more than a thousand
years wherein the fire lit without extinction. It has never been
annihilated since it was started. The temple was a big empty hall,

except for few idols. The fire was buried in ashes and only a small
bellow of smoke came out of it. It looks as if the fire was dying.
The preist took a tong and cleared the ashes. It was suppressed to
see the wood, steadily burning through without any flame. The
slow rate of burning meant, it is the most convenient and
cheapest way of keeping the fire alive. It is told that men folks for
many generations have taken turns building the fire, and
therefore keeping the tradition alive. The locals are very proud of
this tradition they have kept alive for many years more than
thousand years.

MUTUA MUSEUM ( A Cultural Heritage

Complex)

It is another place of attraction and a different kind of

destination. It is the most significsnt place to visit in Andro. It is
run by a family at their backyard. An family members collect
tickets (of Rs 10.00) per visitor for maintaining the complex, it is
said. Though the complex has been started since 1993 by Mutua
Bahadur, the remoteness of the place and its small size does not
draw enough visitors on regular basis, it is told.
There were many cottages built in traditional tribal style and each
contained valuables, which have been stolen by visitors as told by
the manager. Inside the cottages contain items and materials
used in the past. There were traditional houses of major
communities and tribes inhabitantsof Manipur like the Meitei,
Kabui, Tangkhul and Kukis.

The museum is a cultural complex showing major tribal

traditions and their artifacts. In the middle of the complex and
old tree trunk , ccurved with beautiful designs. Nearby few

monoliths are erected with mystic figures . Most of the figures are
authentic materials brought in from other places.

Among the common artifacts displayed here includes various

forms of pottery, musical instruments, traditional cloths, etc. One
most important aspect of the complex is the beautiful wood
carving on the traditional houses.

The Mutua Museum is a beautiful and innovative way of

showcasing th complex conglomeration of peoples and their
culture, co-existing in the state of Manipur. It has a distinct
character of a multicultural mosaics which are composed of
various ethnic groups.

Mutua Museum has long been cherished dream of cultural

heritage complex established in the year 1993 by Mutua
Bahadur, a renowned person to keep preserving the traditional
heritage of the Chakpas community along with other communities
of Manipur. However, it seems that due to lack of funds and as
an experiment, the different traditional houses of the indigenous
people of the complex are made of traditional raw materials,
which are collected at their seasons. All these preservation in the
complex becomes deteriorated. So, it needs to more funding and
proper maintenance. It is believed that the complex is
maintained with a view to bring a centre for materials cultural
studies by providing research materials for academic help.

SANTHEI NATURAL PARK AND DAM

This Park is the main attraction tourists because of its scenic

beauty and charming. A decent number of picnickers arrive daily
here . Both local and outside visitors are crowded daily from early
morning to evening because of its easy accessibility from the
Imphal city. The dam located at the foothill is a pretty lake
developed around a water reservoir. It is a place of popular picnic
spot for both local and outsiders. Visitors are to give entry fee of
Rs 100 inside the park for picnic along with a parking fees of Rs
100 for heavy vehicles and lesser fees of Rs 50 and Rs 20 for light
vehicles and two wheelers.

Inside the parks, there is another attractive site developed

for the visitors as a Chakpa Panam Garden where orchid farms
are developing for attraction of the tourists. One of the member
of the organizing committee of this garden, who is in- charge as
advisor named Yumkhaibam Sajou Singh said that they are
trying to developed tourism in the this place, they aim to promote
tourism activity here. He said that our localities have the
capacity to develp tourism. We have the ambition to promote
tourism. Here we are developing an orchid farm to beautify this
area. We do not get any aid from any other source but we are just
collecting through our own efforts he added. There is an ample
scope of developing tourism in

Andro, in future will emerge as one of the best tourist

hotspot in Manipur. It has endowed a certain kind of natural gifts
as to develop an enchanting tourist spot because of its presence
of fantastic natural characters of endless attributions. Once any

visitor had the experience attracted with it will not able to forget
the endowed quality of the Andro Village at all.

PROSPECT

OF DEVELOPMENT.

Notwithstanding from the facts that there a very promising

prospect of development in the region because of its Natural
beauty and remote traditional preservative culture of the people
. There is ample scope for developing as a tourist spot. Being not
far away from Imphal with easy transport accessibility and
its multicultural activities with profound traditions , there is
every possible attraction of tourists, not only from the local city
dwellers but also, from other states. It is expected that its
development as a tourist spot will stride first, and there is every
possibility of all round development in the area without any
hindrances. Depending on its economic infrastructure which are
available in this particular area the Andro village will go a long
way to go as important tourist hotspots in Manipur in near
future. This can be observed from the present day scenario which
are experiencing in this area.

Availability of local made products, which are unique in

nature abundantly and presence of its artistic and distinctive
items of resources the area will make a renown place. This will
further attract more and more tourists in near future. The local

made brew is preferred by the tourists because if its extraordinary quality and is another booster in the area. The nature
loving quality and preserving of nature is also another
considerable aspect of the people of this village. So, all in all it
has an unique nature.

SUMMING UP

To sum up the overall nature of the Andro village, it is hard

to give a fair statement in totality and somewhat difficult to
analyze the socio-economic condition of area because of limited
period of study. The complete statement of the report is only a
nomenclature base on the references collected for the area by
nature of some limited number of questionnaire collected within a
very short period. The all statement is more or less collected from
e-resources and direct statements collected from the local people
and more over experiences found from the area while visiting the
different areas of village. So, the report is a experimental in
nature and preparatory work. We, therefore, hope to give your
esteemed excuses if any remark affective. Whatever we have
collected from the direct contact information, most of the people
are wanting to give more emphasis to the developmental works
more specifically like road, rural electrification, health care,
drinking water facility, etc. So, related authority in these areas
may kindly give their esteemed attention.

However, it is not suffice to give the remarks except to give

some suggestions as mentioned in the above hightlights in this
meager report.

Thanking You.
