Installation Instructions for Mac OS X & Windows
Mac OS X
1. Move the UnRarX file to your Applications folder. If you already have a utility that can extract .rar files, such
as BetterZip, you can use that instead.
2. Launch UnRarX. From the drop down menu next to Extract to: choose a location where the A P O L L O
library is to be installed.
3. Drag the file Apollo_Cinematic_Guitars.part1.rar onto the UnRarX window. This will begin extracting the files
from parts 1-8 to the chosen location, so this action only needs to be done once.
4. Once the files have been extracted, there will be a folder named Apollo Cinematic Guitars in the chosen
location.
5. If you already have a full version of Kontakt 5 or Kontakt Player 5, you can skip to step 6. If you do not have
a version of Kontakt already installed, launch the KontaktPlayer_5_530_Mac.dmg and follow the on screen
instructions to complete the installation.
6. Launch Kontakt 5, then click on the Libraries tab from the Kontakt browser on the left side of the Kontakt
interface. Just below Libraries, click on Add Library. A Locate Folder window will appear. Navigate to the
Apollo Cinematic Guitars Library folder, highlight it, then click choose. A P O L L O should now appear in
Kontakts library browser.
7. Click the Activate button or launch the NI Service Center application to register your A P O L L O serial
number.

Windows
1. Please go to http://www.winrar.de to download WinRar. If you already have a utility that can extract .rar files,
you can use that instead.
2. Shift click on the file Apollo_Cinematic_Guitars.part1.rar, then choose Extract Files... This will open an
Extraction path and options window.
3. From the Destination Path drop down menu, choose the location where the A P O L L O library should be
installed. Next, Click OK. This will begin extracting the files from parts 1-8 to the chosen location, so this
action only needs to be done once.
4. Once the files have been extracted, there will be a folder named Apollo Cinematic Guitars in the chosen
location. This folder contains the A P O L L O Library content.
5. If you already have a full version of Kontakt 5 or Kontakt Player 5, you can skip to step 6. If you do not have
a version of Kontakt already installed, launch the Kontakt Player 5 5.3.0 Setup PC.exe and follow the on
screen instructions to complete the installation.
6. Launch Kontakt 5, then click on the Libraries tab from the Kontakt browser on the left side of the Kontakt
interface. Just below Libraries, click on Add Library. A Locate Folder window will appear. Navigate to the
Apollo Cinematic Guitars Library folder, highlight it, then click choose. A P O L L O should now appear in
Kontakts library browser.
7. Click the Activate button or launch the NI Service Center application to register your A P O L L O serial
number.
