This certificate signifies that the attached valve has passed the following production
acceptance tests.

1)

Pressure Relieving at a pressure no greater than 8.4kPa

2)

Pressure Tight at 5.6kPa with less than 1 LPM (litre per minute) leakage.
(5.6kPa is 80% nominal pressure rating).

3)

Vacuum relieving at no more than 2.4kPa

4)

Roll-over Leak Tightness Test with air at 28kPa pressure at 90, 180 and 270
degrees rotation from the vertical.
Test procedure as per BS EN 14595:2005 section 6.2.3 (tanks for transport of
dangerous good Sevice equipment pressure and vacuum breather vent)
and BS EN 12266-1:2003 (Industrial Valves Testing of Valves) Table A5 for
a DN50 (50mm diameter) valve for testing with gas.

The above tests meet the requirements of BS EN 12972:2007 section 5.10

Inspection of service equipment with respect to Pressure Vacuum Breather Vents
intended for installation in low pressure (<50kPa) tank compartments.
