C. Today, we will read a comic strip about Bantay and Tagpi. These two
dogs are best of friends. Which of the two dogs learned the value of
HONESTY?

After reading each paragraph there are questions that needs to be
answer by the pupils

Accomplish the CHARACTER MAP for Bantay and Tagpi. Do it on your
notebook.

A. Arrange the picture frames based on the sequence of events in Bantay
and Tagpi
(Refer to LM Activity 119)
B. (Show picture of Tagpi with labels of his body parts)
Point to the word back, teeth and thigh when you read it and part of
the body it labels.
Discuss how to decode consonant digraphs in final or medial or initial
position.
(pupils will say the letters aloud and then give the sound /k/ of the
consonant digraph ck)

possible

from Whole Brain Teaching.

B. Identify the verbs from the sentences posted on the board during review.
Why are they called verbs?
C. If we are going to remove the action words, what would the group of
words mean?
(Emphasize that verbs play an important role in completing
sentences.)

Identify the verbs use in each sentences.
*Tagpi tumbles down on Bantays collection of bones.

In your group, write 2-3 sentences about the pictures you are holding.
V. Assignment
Draw on a clean sheet of bond paper the things that you do in your
house during weekends and write sentences about it. ( be sure to underline
the verbs you use in each sentences)
