Task 2 Business Plan Reflection

Knowledge
Explore how internal environmental pressures can influence the behaviour
and performance of businesses and organizations
Examine how creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship can facilitate and
develop businesses
Explain the functions and activities of a business

Develop ability to collect, analyze and reformat information from a variety of
relevant sources

Dissect, interpret and formulate solutions to a variety of business related
problems
Demonstrate ability to research and locate information relevant to
understanding business.
Task
You are required to write a reflective 1,500 word group paper evaluating the business
plan and identify learning experiences taken from the activity. (Total weighting 50%)
The assignment requires that each group prepares a 1,500 word report (+/- 10%)
which summarises their reflections of:
a. Your group strategy in developing your business plan.
b. The problems you encountered / errors you made in the planning of the plan.
c. What you have learned about the function of the business and how they
impact upon the completion of a successful business plan pitch. In particular
consider:

Management
Human Resources
Operations
Finance
Marketing

It is accepted that all members of the group will contribute to writing this paper. If
any members do not contribute it is important that you make your tutor aware of this.
This will be handed in by Friday 22nd May.
