Respected Commander-in-Chief,

Hello sir, I am Surya.S.. I am from the Royal Air Navy. I am the head
commander of the Navy. There are many recent allegations from my
honourable sub-commanders about the mandatory military policy, which was
badly criticized by many people. So as a royal son to our motherland, I am
just writing this proposal to have some amendments done in the mandatory
military policy.
National service was the best option for a patriot like me. From a really small
age only, I wanted to join the Air Navy. It had been 6 years since I had joined
the British army. My father was a Marine commander. Since I was eleven, I
dreamt of serving the country and working in the Royal Navy. I was inspired
by my father. I liked to use weapons and stay fit. Army taught me how a man
should be, fearless, critical-decision making and should have a code of
behavior . That was really helpful because of that I got married. I was glad
that I served and protected my country and my countrymen. I was really
proud about it because it boosted my confidence and I reached a higher
rank. After the end of World War II, I faced many hardships which made me
reach today the highest honor that I was deserved to achieve.
There are many advantages of our mandatory military policy. It promotes
national unity. It makes everyone of us feel one as a nation together and
fighting for our motherland. People from different backgrounds come which
increases the cultural interaction between people. As I said above it made
me mentally as well as physical fit. That was the main thing. Even when my
father died, I havent even shed tear for him, because he himself was a hardhearted and emotion-controlled man. He was a role model for me. Everyone
would be glad to receive a chance of the training and serving for our land.
There would be equal patriotic feeling between each citizen of our country
but as a respected and honourable commander you know that each and
every policy has its cons as well.
Some of the disadvantages are, it promotes exploitation of peoples rights. If
people dont want to serve the country but then also they are forced to do
so. There will be no point making someone do something which they dont
like. They should be given freedom. Everyone is not a born militant like me or
you respected major. It puts young people at risk because if we do something
which we dont like then we dont put as much as effort as we can put in
something which suits us or our interests. Army is not game of shooting and
using weapons. As you know royal major, it is a game between death and
life. One mistake or distraction can cost your life. So I am telling that we
shouldnt force anyone for this. Also it would just be a waste of money of the
country because the people wont like it and they wont even train well. It also
interferes in our early stages of education of attending a university or
reaching our aim of becoming something. 18 years is the best age for a

person to choose what he should he become and how he should achieve his
ambition. So in recent times even some of the authorities of the defence
ministry told that they were not quite happy with the mandatory military
policy. The keeping of old militant who have reached the age of 40 is also not
a good idea because training for them would be painful. So I am directly
referring to me and all the other militants who are above the age of 40
should be given a honourable retirement with satisfied pension. The young
blood of Britain still has the power and the capacity to protect the country.
Till the age of 30, respected major like you and me can sustain our fitness
but after it reaches 40 everything becomes a major challenge for us. Even if
we are mentally fit our body wont be able to co-ordinate with us as well.
Thats why even if the government is not willing to give a retirement, then
we should voluntarily retire ourselves. Respected majors like you still can
serve the motherland, by being defence advisor or the authority of defence
ministry. By doing that you can still get a satisfaction because Britain doesnt
need good military-men but it needs professionals like you who can be a
good leaders and lead from the front, because where professional are
supposed to be there, there are politicians and complete illiterate people
with no experience on how it is like to be on grounds than just being just
giving a speech about politics. Because the training would be pointless to a
weak old militant who can make us win war which can result in a lot of
casualties.

These are the changes that should be made by the government of

Britain for the mandatory militant policy.
People should be given training for 1 years so that they can get an idea
of how it likes to work in an army. And then they should be asked if
they want to continue or not. If they want to leave then its no problem,
if they want to stay then also they can stay. By that we could
satisfaction from the people as well as our militants.
At the age of 40, people can be given royal retirement and a healthy
pension, but if they want to continue they can be appointed as an
authority of defence ministry like defence advisor which will give them
full satisfaction. They shouldnt be trained because it is pointless and
no one would enjoy their old life by doing hard military training and it
would also be a great loss to finance department of our country, that
money would be simply wasteful. Instead, that money can be used to
pensions to the retired militants or they can be given as salaries to
trainers which can be those retired militants.
No one knows the good policy for our country than you honourable
major. Thanks for the effort and time for reading my letter.
Regards,
Honourable Commander,

Royal Air Navy,

Surya.S.
