Traceability
SP is National Laboratory for electrical quantities and time and frequency by appointment of
the Swedish government. SP realizes fundamental units such as volt, ohm and second from
primary standards. Traceability for other units is established from these realizations by means
of in-house calibrations and scientific analyses. To ensure international equivalence and
acceptance of the established traceability, interlaboratory comparisons are made between
national laboratories.

The power supply HP 6813B was adjusted to 65.0 V 50 Hz.
The variable transformer was connected to the 65 V source and adjusted to
3.25 0.20 V respective 9.75 0.20 V (5 % resp 15% of 65 V).
The output of the power supply and the transformer was connected to the interruption
generator T 3000. The interruption generator was set to specified switch time, with switch
between the voltage sources at zero crossing of the voltage. The voltage was steady state
65.0 V 60 s before the voltage dip.
The output voltage from the interruption generator was connected to all phases of the test
object together, i.e. simultaneous voltage change on all phases of the voltage input of the test
object and no phase shift.
The read out from the test object was displayed by an external computer. The client was
responsible for the for the operation of the external computer. The test result was saved on the
log file SP2S15P5P UP2210 on the clients computer.
The test set-up can be seen in the picture below:

Traceability
SP is National Laboratory for electrical quantities and time and frequency by appointment of the Swedish government. SP realizes fundamental units such as volt, ohm and
second from primary standards. Traceability for other units is established from these
realizations by means of in-house calibrations and scientific analyses. To ensure international equivalence and acceptance of the established traceability, interlaboratory
comparisons are made between national laboratories.

Results
The result is presented below as the error expanded uncertainty, or as set value, measured
value and expanded uncertainty. The reported expanded uncertainty of measurement is stated
as the standard uncertainty of measurement multiplied by the coverage factor k = 2, which for
a normal distribution corresponds to a coverage probability of approximately 95%. The
standard uncertainty has been determined in accordance with EA Publication EA-4/02. The
long term stability of the calibrated object is not included in the reported expanded uncertainty
of measurement.
The error is calculated as (measured value true value)

The result is presented below as the error expanded uncertainty, or as set value, measured
value and expanded uncertainty. The reported expanded uncertainty of measurement is stated
as the standard uncertainty of measurement multiplied by the coverage factor k = 2, which for
a normal distribution corresponds to a coverage probability of approximately 95%. The
standard uncertainty has been determined in accordance with EA Publication EA-4/02. The
long term stability of the calibrated object is not included in the reported expanded uncertainty
of measurement.
The error is calculated as (measured value true value)/true value*100 %.
Tables of the result are found on following pages.
