Novotel is a 3 star hotel located at General Aguinaldo Ave, Araneta Center, Quezon City,
0810 Metro Manila it has 401 rooms and suites, they also have contemporary casual dining at
Food Exchange Manila, Gourmet Bar by Novotel and a trendy Pool and Lounge Bar, Premier
Lounge, outdoor Bridal Garden, pillarless Grand Ballroom and 7 spacious meeting rooms.
Novotel is a mid-scale hotel brand within the AccorHotels group. Novotel has over 470 hotels
and resorts in 61 countries, ideally located in the heart of major international cities, business
districts and tourist destinations. Novotel opened its first hotel in 1967 in Lille Lesquin, France.
4.2 Description of their system

Their booking system is the same as most hotels in the philippines, they have
advertisement in all over web where they partnered with third party booking site/s to book a
room. You can also call their hotel throught phone and book there to be able to ask for more
information.

4.5 Problem Areas

Most people often encounter problems when booking a hotel room online. Connectivity
issues some people may experience connectivity issue while reserving or booking a hotel online
these may to booking more rooms or duplication of transaction. Some people may experience
synchronization problems between the travel agency and the hotel or airline. Sometimes
travelers used to book rooms that were unavailable or already filled. It was difficult to update the
empty rooms in hotels. Although all the information is available online on the internet, it is still
easier to know what kind of service you will get in a hotel depending on how the person who
answers your call speaks to you. Most hotel booking websites dont offer the discounted rates
as they have to manage commissions.

5.1 System Overview

In the system that we proposing which is Hotel Management Monitoring. This will benefit the
clients of the hotel and certainly the owner. It will make the clients to check in or book a room by
the use of our propose system. With a few clicks they can easily reserved a room. Its hassle
free. They can check the type of rooms that the hotel offers and the available rooms. The admin
meanwhile can easily check how many rooms are left. The admin also can monitor if there were
problems happening.
