A HEART OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Hebrews 3: 13
But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today, lest any of you be hardened
through the deceitfulness of sin.
You have to make it a habit of encouraging people. The bible says encourage one another daily. It
is great to receive general encouragement. Its great when someone says I like your outfit.
Every one of us need to think about that and encourage people in general. But when we make a
spiritual deposit in someones life, a spiritual encouragement that it not only takes their life to a
new level but it takes our life to a new level. When we love one another and encourage one
another with the sincere love of God, we are allowing God to extend His grace through us. When
we realize God can use us that He will extend His grace through us and we say God I want to be
that person and I want you to use me. I want to be encouraged generally but I also want someone
to make a spiritual deposit into my life.
God has put a heart of an encourager in each one of us. Every one of us can develop into a great
encourager. It may just take a little practice. The way to get good at anything is to practice. You
want to play the piano you better practice. You want to learn language you better practice.
Whatever it is that you want to get good at, you have got to give it time and you have got to give
it effort. If you want your life to go to another level, be an encourager. Be someone who is
sincere to find out what people need and to give it to them to make spiritual deposits in their life.
The best place that you can begin to encourage is your own home. If you make your home an
environment of encouragement, you will see the peace and the blessing dwell in your home like
you never ever expected.
If husbands and wives would intentionally encourage one another, your entire family would go to
a whole new level. We must be intentional, purposeful and sincere with our encouragement.
When the one closest to you encourages you, its the word that means the most. Because if you
can encourage the one closest to you, then that person knows that you must really mean it.
Because often times we dont give the person closest to us what they really need. We come to
this place that we think you already know what I think about u and we neglect those words that
are so sweet to the soul. Its refreshing to the soul when someone makes a spiritual deposit in
your life. Ask God help me extend your grace to someone, show me someone today. You can
even have a reminder or mark in the calendar encourage someone today. Find that someone
God brings to your heart and to your mind.
Today is the day to encourage. Dont let today go by till you have found someone to encourage.
People cant reach your mind; they can only reach your words. We should make spiritual
deposits in each others life so that sin doesnt deceive us so that we dont get the wrong idea.

You and I can have a whole new life if we would begin to be the depositors of encouragement, to
extend the glory of God. God works with the flexible hearts. We dont serve a limited God we
serve a limitless God. God wants to fill u with joy, and peace unspeakable and full of glory.
Make it a daily practice. You have a depositors heart. Turn on that fan and let it flow. Your fan,
the blessings of God will overflow in your life.
